That ... that was ... wow Varick. You were supposed to be beating an opponent, not tenderizing meat for dinner or butchering a corpse.

Even I feel terrible for Gai, that was awful.

I thought surely, a helmet forged from the strongest material known to dwarf would be sufficient to guard Tortox' noggin from a mere copper whip. Good game, Klackon.

Yeah I think whips do need a debuff then. If a copper whip can pierce the strongest possible armor that easily they are a bit OP imo.

Also Princess Klackon and Tortox's dance was hilarious. Also brutal victory by Varick. I'm glad he finished off the Boat Murderer mercilessly...

Magma giveth, Magma taketh away :'(  Interesting to note that in both Zavier's matches, whomever started on the left side wound up falling in.

How does it feel to get hit in the hand and spend the rest of the match unconscious and burning in lava, Zavier?

Not too good, is it? xD

EDIT: Someone should draw all of the losers cooking Setro and Zavier over spits who are brofisting or something while we look like the shit was beaten out of us.

Yeah, I tend to agree that whips are OP. Copper going trough adamandine like butter doesn't seem natural.

That being said, here is Princess Klackon-Ktsss-Ktss' level up :

left over points from last level: 34

2*34 + 250 = 318

Adept doger -> High Master dodger (315 pts)

new character sheet:
Ant-Woman (+250)
[Equipment]
copper whip x4 (-130)
leather helm (-6)
leather cap (-5)
leather mail shirt (-12)
leather breast plate(-10)
leather leggings (-7)
leather greaves (-9)
leather gauntlets (-4)
leather high boots (-5)
[Skills]
adept lasher(-140)
High Master dodger(-455)

Points left : 3

Alrighty, so this is Thud's upgrades

-Thud the Mad- managed by Arkansan
Human -240 + 248 round 1 + 256 round 2
[Equipment]
Steel Long Sword - 96
[Skills]
Sword -  90 Accomplished ----> High Master
Dodge - 50 Skilled ------> Proficient

So that leaves me with 241 points spent and 15 remaining.

Wow, that match between Cerol and Dorian was close! That lash to the neck moments before Dorian bled out... if he had lasted just a little longer, Cerol would have been helplessly passed out and would certainly have lost.

I'll update as soon as I am able, at work right now.

Finished: Weatherwires, the Last Mountainhome. A tragic mix of Children of Men, City of Ember, and, uh, magma.
Stymied: Correspondence from Syrupurns, a prematurely ended narrative, told through annual updates.
In Progress: Roomcarnage, a fortress clinging to life beneath a haunted glacier.

Right!? Upon further research, it's clear I should have just ditched the fighter skill and put the rest into lashing, dodging, and shielding. Next time....

But for now I've got my money on Cerol to win it all.

Are we even sure entirely what Fighter does?

Haha, that was the research! From the DF wiki:
Quote
Its use or significance is currently not known. However, when tested in arena mode with two dwarves, one unskilled and one grand master fighter, the one with fighter skill won consistently while armed with any of the default weapons. Unarmed dwarves showed no preference.

So it seems pretty useless.
