Did I forget to upgrade Thud for this fight or did his gladiator listing just not get changed?

Honestly, now I'm not sure.

Not that it made much difference, but didn't Cadedi upgrade to a steel pike?

Oh well, he survived either way so that's all that matters. I checked my post history, I dumped 240 points into his sword skill bringing it to Accomplished and had 8 points left over. However I didn't repost his updated stats like everyone else so maybe that's what happened.

I believe weapon skill allows you to block more easily with your weapon. That was definitely a wise choice to make.

Sath the Cloakbearer is returning once more to the arena, having had his legs stitched back on, and he's even rinsed the smears of gremlin off of his famous cloak!

And Hokiak of Dryclaw, full of vim, vigour, and a venom so toxic it makes grown men beg for mercy! Will his pincers beat Sath's cold steel? Let's find out!

Sath, Sath! He disarmed, or perhaps dishanded Hokiak with his first solid blow! Poor Hokiak was left grasping at straws, until Sath's sword introduced his chest cavity to a breath of fresh air.
