Are certain species banned from this event, and is there a place to review how many points you would get if your gladiator were to be species x instead of species y?

If you are speaking of animal men then any who are larger than yetis / sasquatches are just to big to fit through the arena doors. On your second point, if you are still talking about animal men, you will simply have to ask or message myself to find out how many points that an animal man will receive as there are far to many variations for me to add them all to the 'races' chart on the first page.

That tenacity though, his entrails were hanging out the entire time!

Elimination I Match VIII
Kieran the Killpocalypse! VS. Hokiak of Dryclaw

Spoiler: Gladiators (click to show/hide)

Oh boy! Armok really wants to see some magma baths tonight!

And here are our victims gladiators, Kieran is a man, not so well trained, not so well equiped. What the heck is he doing here you ask? Has he even earned the name 'Killpocalypse!', almost certainly not. I mean it has an exclamation mark for crying out loud! Ah well, it can't be helped.

From a desert tribe far to the west comes the creature we know as Hokiak of Dryclaw. I've heard that this elderly 35,001.5 Urist scorpion man works as some sorta shady in between for all sorts of trading and stuff. Well, what has brought this old guy out here has me beat, why not let him have some fun huh?

Now that is one deadly old fart! These gladiators may need to have some restrictions on their natural powers, oh man! Honestly, I've no clue what kind of venom a scorpion man outputs, but it probably isn't pretty.

Y'know, maybe once the qualifiers are done we could have a battle brawl royale between all of the losers at once, just to see some more blood and guts. 'Course, if its a pain to arrange then it's not needed, but maybe it's a thought.

EDIT: oh my, that was a nasty fight. That bark scorpion venom must really pack a punch!

Thought the copper gauntlets would've been more protective. That was an unexpected start.

Yeah I was wondering about that, whether it actually penetrated or was just an override. Armor can deflect bites, right? Should do the same for stings.

It can deflect all the natural attacks I think.

I was worried about the armored opponents because of it.

Elimination I Match VIV
Pok Pok VS. Cerol Trollbane, Monster Slayer

Spoiler: Gladiators (click to show/hide)

There is truly something special about that good ole klassic arena feel, especially when two midgets are duking it out!!

Midget number one would be a Kobold who seems to constantly mutter to himself, often repeating, 'Pok Pok' we assume that is the guy's name. And I honestly have no idea where all these tiny critters get a hold of powerful candy artifacts. But can this 20,000 Urist kobold use it well?

Number two is our only gladiator with a comma in his name, give it up for the pint sized red scaled crundle Cerol! A great passtime of his is of course slaying trolls with the less spectacular steel dagger. Standing at half of Pok Pok's size, will this famous, by crundle reckoning, guy be able to defeat the better equipped kobold?

Spoiler: Battle Gif (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Battle Log (click to show/hide)

Aha ha ha! The little guy managed to do it, which shows you, experience over gleaming metal any day. Well done everyone. And strangely Pok Pok decided to throw off his leather cap, what an odd little 'bold.

I like how Hoklak went straight for the wrists, despite the fact that Kieran wasn't wearing anything beneath the waist.

Also, Cerol should spend his extra points (if he has enough) on a adamantine dagger, so he can say he looted it from Pok Pok.
