Damn I would have liked to be part of this. Will you be doing another one after this one finishes?

He's doing these monthly, and this is the second one.

I'm pretty sure he'd move diagonally if he could.
You would think that, but the guy thought encasing himself in fire was a good idea.

Alright, just returned home everyone, I am tired and beat but I shall likely begin again soon, so hang in there!

It won't be happening again (Post has been deleted).

I didn't say you had to delete, not sure if I implied it either, I am sorry.

P.S. big thanks to Unraveller for setting this up/bringing it to my attention, I'm going to be introducing it to my weekly game night group.

Daww, thanks buddy!

Oh and a quick question to make sure I'm clear. I had 4 points remaining, so does that mean that I have 8 now and if I were to win again it would be 16 afterwards?

Well, you would be correct, but you forgot that you also gain your racial starting points as well after you've won a match. As an example:

Bob is a human with 240 points
Bob purchases shit until he has 50 points left
After wining his match Bob has 340 points to spend
240 for being a human and 100 from his doubled left overs.

Hope that is clear for everyone!

Damn I would have liked to be part of this. Will you be doing another one after this one finishes?

Don't worry little buddy, I plan to host these monthly and as Azhf has said, this is the second tourney. The very first one can be found in a link on the first page here. Every month around the 14th.

Sorry I'm asking so many questions, but I'm unclear on one last thing. After each round do we have to buy our skills and equipment again or do we carry the skills and equipment over? Like I had 4 points left last round so would I have 248 this that I would have to use to purchase all my skills and gear again or could it go to furthering the skills I had last time?

You improve upon what you had from last round! Don't worry about asking questions, I may not be clear enough at times.

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe all skills and gear carry over. You can sell back gear at 50% cost, but your skills are there to stay.

Elimination I Match VI
King Tuticane VS. Uric of Battlefailed

Spoiler: Gladiators (click to show/hide)

High upon the top of the castle heat stroke we have two noble warriors.

A slithering serpent from cavernous regions. Some say they've simply bought their way into the tourney with their many exuberant gifts, and fresh bath soaps. I know nothing of this of course, I am unsure of what would bring this 50,000 Urist snake to the competition and I can't be sure there are any good intentions.

And his opponent? The would-be king, Uric of Battlefailed, a ruined kingdom once rife with life. Now this dwarf standing just a bit broader than Tuticane at 60,000 Urists intends to gain fame through the gladiatorial combat and use it to wield the power of a noble, will he succeed?

Boy I guess his name fits even more now, hardly able to land blows on this monstrous king. It would seem that the poor dwarf would at least serve some noble purpose, being the delicious food for ruler of a kingdom.

Oops, looks like I screwed up that battle log. Ah well, it goes on like that until the poor guy finally falls.

Are certain species banned from this event, and is there a place to review how many points you would get if your gladiator were to be species x instead of species y?

Elimination I Match VII
Lumash Zatidar VS. Sath the Cloakbearer

Spoiler: Gladiators (click to show/hide)

Mmmm, I just love that smell. Burnt corpses, there's something about that aroma that really sets me off!

Anywho, here surrounded by boiling magma stands two very under-dressed gladiators. On one side stands a small green bugger wielding a dagger of blue sheen. Such a deadly weapon couldn't possibly be used wrong in the hands of a 10,000 Urist creature who calls itself Frenzy Stabdog, could it?

On the other side of the burning pit is Sath the Cloakbearer, his manager has returned after the embarrassing defeat of Steapa the Northman. This man came shrouded in a grand cloak, which he shortly disrobed from of course to reveal his gigantic sword. Can Lumash even hope to defeat the well muscled 70,000 Urist human?

Spoiler: Battle Gif (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Battle Log (click to show/hide)

Aha! That's what I want, another reason to work on my surgery skills, numerous limbs flying everywhere. Though Sath finally decides to end it with a brütal decapitation!
