Not strictly about E3 but since everyone is on the hype train, Source 2 has been announced. First game to use it will be DOTA 2: Reborn. I personally don't give a single fuck about DOTA but it's nice that there's a slim possibility of new Valve games on the horizon.
But will Source 2 still run on anything?

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I honestly don't see why not. I'm sure Valve knows they'll probably never be the leader in graphics ever again and instead focusing on optimisation will help to keep a large chunk of the low-income/young demographic in the free2play games which are then using Steam and building brand loyalty.

I would like if their next product focused on improving those smaller details. When Half-Life 2 was released the graphics were surely very nice but it was also other details like the physics, breakable objects like boxes, lip-syncing and so on that made it seem of high quality.

If they can really make steps in those areas than I think they stand a much better chance of standing out from the other games that are going to be released in the next year or two. With the ideas from Portal, Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2 and such it'll be interesting to see what they come up with.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

So I just saw this...
This is now the 4th game on my radar, #2 in ranking.

...  it is an MMO though.  Hype deflated.

Well, if you guys have been keeping up with leaks the smash livestream didn't reveal anything too contrary to them, but for the highlights:o

Roy, Lucas, and Ryu confirmed

New Mii costumes, including Inkling ones(plus they get a trophies). Plus, Mii amiibo

New stages(including a Miiverse one!)

lol kotaku

There was some fuss recently because they weren't invited to Ubisoft's E3 press conference.
I guess Ubisoft is only inviting actual journalists this year  :P

Cocks. I was hoping it would be similar to Monster Hunter where you join a game with some friends and have fun without a bunch of 'chosen ones' running around everywhere.

The only ones I know of are RPS. Which 'real' journalists made it in, then? =p

I think you mean this and this.

Also game devs get paid depending on metacritic score, which is bullshit awesome and fair.

Catching E3 on Youtube.

The latest Doom looks pretty awesome, and considering I'm a bit short tech-wise, I think my brothers will have some time to get back into deathmatch form in this game. Definitely worthy of our weekly game-a-thon get-together. Kinda disappointed the plasma gun didn't sound like it's classic counterpart more. Not much for the Doom 3 and onward sound; not energetic enough. I mean it's an energy weapon.

Not content to battle against WoW in the MMO market, Bethesda is making a TES-themed Hearthstone ripoff now.

This might be worse than paid mods.

Shitty new Doom, Weeaboo Fortress 2, more fucking with modders, DISHONORED 2 HYPE; GRILL PROTAG HYPE, Hearthstone the Gathering of the Elder Scrolls, trolling.
