Hearing this, Gar, who is patting his pockets in search for his money, pales. "Ah... do you take trade, or need work done? I seem to have misplaced my money somewhere... Im a dab hand at fixing things, nomatter what they are, and bring my own tools..."

Kat gasped at the strange...computer...thing. She had never seen anything like it, except at the bottom of the river. They usually burned.

She reached out, and gently poked the receptionists computer with her spear.

"...Old People's Clickerbox! It can suck out your lifesoul. Do not touch..." She warned her comrades fervently, waving them back.

"Lady, you, me-we speak now, as one and to one, from one to two. We three are humble pilguns, on a journ-ay across the horiz-yon, looking for the most honorable work. I am Kat of the Rad River Clan, she behind me is Kaitlyn of the Rivers Clan, and the metal-man is Sir Cass of Lan, of the No-Clan. We are most skilled trackers and hunters, and know the wastes in ten and one hundred ways. We could be guides, hunters, explorers, guards. I also play a most wonderful Guitarro, if you desire the old music. Kaitlyn can dance quite wonderfully, though she will become angered if you ask!

We would also enjoy being paid in gemstones. Do you have work for gemstones?"

*sigh* "Don't tell people I dance Kat... and we'd take other forms of payment not just gemstones. " Kaitlyn says as she puts a across her forehead clearly trying not to get stressed out by Kat.

Nikita looks to Noah. "We're totally broke, I think we might have to work for some money before even thinking about getting some rooms. I doubt they still use pre-war money."

"Of course not! It's been... well, it's been a very long time. Would there even be printing presses nowadays?
...We could sell our guns, maybe. But that would be dumb. I love this thing.
And then I wouldn't have a gun."

"Guns are valuable, Nikki. How are you supposed to defend yourself from people with guns if you don't have one yourself? Even a super-old one like yours. No offense.
I mean, remember what happened a few days ago?"

Check out the inside of the building.

He is blocked by a guard, but not a Hierarch one; a mercenary in crude metal armor is now standing in front of him.

"The TI merchant association is closed for the time being. Move along."

Akio stays still but begins to spout a headache inducing fountain of random shit~

Akio is cut off by a bullet just missing him, cracking into the wall.

"Another word and we'll check just how thick your skull is with the next bullet.

The only reason you're still alive is because you might be worth something. Jens, test him."

One of the mercs approaches with a small medical kit, grasping a hypodermic needle.

Hearing this, Gar, who is patting his pockets in search for his money, pales. "Ah... do you take trade, or need work done? I seem to have misplaced my money somewhere... Im a dab hand at fixing things, nomatter what they are, and bring my own tools..."

"Hmm... if you can fix up some food processors I bought off this scrapper, I'll give you the food you want."

-snip-

"Well, we do have some work that needs to be done involving some mountaineering. How well do you know the mountain range next to this city?"

[Speech 30 or Survival 25 check available]

"Ok so what prospectors are in town?"" lilly asks as she finishes her drink.

"I don't know who's in town. You gonna pay for that drink?"

((OOC: What's the mechanical difference between the checks? Can I do both?

Also, amazed at her nonchalant response. She must get plenty of tribals. :P ))

Action: I'll do both checks if I can btw...speech check, otherwise.
