"Thy jornay is mine jornay!" The knight seems to get pumped once more, returning to humming a merry song about "mirie cumpane" or something along those lines.

Action: Help companions look for jobs.

Or keep a safe distance to prevent my armored ass from ruining opportunities. This seems more reasonable.

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Noah puts on his best innocent face.
"Hey, mister. We just came into town and we thought this would be a good place to rest. What do you have for sale?"

"Rooms and booze, not much else."

Recover stuff. Switch into comfy personal clothes. Quickly search room for anything else of use. Hide.

Question who the hell designed this place. You don't put the storage room directly above the cryochamber and you don't make the storage room the entry room. This is how stuff broke horribly. Someone designed this place in a godawful manner. Least it sorta worked though.

By the time you've changed, the door has nearly been cut through, so Akio sits behind a large wall of crates just as the door comes down.

"Jackpot, boys, we've hit the storage room. This place have an armory?"

Nardo sits at the bar.
"Something strong please. So, Barkeep, you got any work for me and my friends?"

"Cash up front, we don't do tabs here. If you need honest work, you're best off heading towards the Employment Centre and working on something for the Hierarchy. Hard work, but good enough pay. Plenty of other work around here too, if you know where to find it. Markets are a good place to start."

"...I'm going to go visit the market. If we split up, let us meet back at the gate afterwards..." Kat says, running off.

Action: Explore the marketplace, looking for opportunity and uh, wonder.

Plenty of strange and exotic goods here: glowing green crystals, strange weapons, plenty of old-world scrap, and a whole load of other stuff. A few other people are offering short time employment for mercenaries, although it may be a high-risk sort of thing.

Try to find a map board.

No luck. You do find a noticeboard, however, outlining a few job opportunities amongst all the other crap.

Lilly puts her boots up on the table as she drinks.
"Well i wonder if kind works available?" she idly asks

"Get your boots off my table, and we'll talk. Damn disrespectful, that is."

"Looking is free..." Kat says, following along.

Action: Looking for jobs. And gemstones!

You find glowing green crystals! Shiny. Also, short-term high-risk mercenary jobs.

The guards are watching you intently. Good sign, right?

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Gar heads in to a nearby store, filled with a various amount of, well, crap.

"Welcome!"
"Hi. Ah, do you perchance trade food and rifle ammunition, or barring that refill brass?"

"...it's dishonorable to fight for coin...but, honor never filled my belly, either...find us a job that will fit our group-aside from Clankclank*, you and I are quick, smart, and good at surviving the wastelands. We might be good guides for those who wish to travel."

((sorry for lateness, i lost two games of kings cup in a row in one night

i always lose that game))

Akio stays hidden.

((literally so close to being found, that sneak roll))

Four or more guys are in the room, two standing guard at the entrance to the store room, and some others exploring the room.

"The last cyro chamber should be down below. They've all been dead so far, but who knows, maybe we'll get lucky, eh?"

"How much for a room for the three of us?"

"Three-bed room? 90 Hierarch cents or 100 cents equivalent.''

"Hi. Ah, do you perchance trade food and rifle ammunition, or barring that refill brass?"

"I've got food and ammunition aplenty, as well as your reloading materials."

Try to find any mention of Arks among the offered jobs.

There's a notice from a merchant guild requesting experienced prospectors to join an expedition searching for another Ark, but there's not much else.

Action: Ask for information about jobs or places hiring.

She asks a disgruntled shopkeeper, who points her towards a Hierarch hiring centre, before turning back to a customer.

"Well lets hear it then." Lilly puts her boots back on the ground.

"Plenty of work in Hierarch scrapyards, or as mercs for the many prospectors trying to get their cut of the Ark loot. Course, it's not what you know, but who you know that gets the jobs around here."

"Maybe there is a chance we'll be finding an Ark.."

Harvey frowns.

"You'd think there'd be a map somewhere."

Look around the larger buildings for the merchant guild building.

"Who would we have to see about some work?" Nikita asks.

((I wonder why nobody has commented on the fact that 2 of the 3 people in the 3-N group are wearing Ark clothes. Are Ark residents normal around there?))
