If it takes only one turn, yes.

There's still non-trap chests in dungeons for loot.

Yeah we have 2-3 people with far higher luck then the rest. We're doomed Elf, low luck and we're defenders not killers so the bonus item is out as well.
I'm making a Smith though, just keep any ores or crap metal gear you get and I'll use it for materials to make us stuff.

Sure, spears can be 1 handed so they're fine with a shield. Spears are a defensive weapon generally used for facing bigger enemies it'd for you well since it has longer reach.

I THINK it could be RPG Maker too, but since the only other tool I know of that's anything similar is Maptools, which is more of an online tabletop client, feh.
