Unique Skill: do we get this or this come later?

It comes later, and I'll probably set certain criteria for obtaining them.

Also, regarding death: When a character is brought to 0 HP, I'll count them as downed. If they are not healed within 2 or 3 turns, they will die. When a character dies, that's it: They don't come back. You can make a new one at an appropriate level, and they'll be put on the waitlist unless there's an open spot.

The justification for the 2 or 3 turns: In SAO, in the first boss fight, the one person that died had a good 30 seconds to talk to Kirito. Same with a few other deaths later in the series. So, I'm just allowing people to use health potions/crystals on the dying during that time.

If someone has a potion could they use it on themselves to "up" themselves? Or does it HAVE to be someone else's potion/generosity?

Someone else's potion. Balance issues, otherwise, because everyone would just have a stack of healing potions to revive themselves.

To make that logical, we could say that anyone with 0 HP isn't strong enough to drink the potion themselves, it has to be given to them by someone else.

If they do it incorrectly Yuri will get on them for it.

But if they're actually logical, there shouldn't be problems.

Yes. In the stats section, I include what classes of weapons are which stat. Shields are counted as armor.
