Hmm, the unofficial servers I've tried so far aren't on beefy enough computers apparently. Even ones with 30 people on are lagging. The official ones aren't laggy for me with 70 on though.

My ping shows 17 to one, yet on it the animals are teleporting all around and don't fight back even when I stand still. I killed a raptor with my fists.

I say we find a cave entrance and secure it with fortifications, making it our very own.
Then perhaps build huts inside as storage and living quarters, if there's room for it.

Alas, I have not yet found a way for Europeans to access American servers.
Maybe we have to set up a clan for each continent? :(

Found that server Greatorder mentioned the.
Why did I not think of that any sooner?

But yeah, in-game server listings is a bit limited.

I'll try that server and see how my ping affects things.

It's literally 10 times the ping I get on local servers, lol. 17-21 or so up to 170-210 or so.

Being laggy might actually be a benefit in this game though. On servers that are laggy I was able to kill anything, on servers that aren't lagging (and single player) things like trikes stomp me while trying to spear them. That might only apply to server lag and not ping though.

It also tends to be warmer inland, which brings the unique issue of your guy constantly orgasming because they've overheated.
...What.

I have pretty bad lag on that server, but it actually helps me kill stuff. Punched a level 30 dilo to death on spawning because he just ran around me and never hit me.

Not sure if it's server lag or my ping. Do animals rubberband around for the european folks playing here? Some low ping servers do the same, whereas others are so lagless they're like playing single player. So I'm not sure if it's a server that needs more oomph or my ping on this one.

Oh?

Official servers are basically lag free for me (or at least the two I tried, haven't been able to get back into either since due to being full lol).

And a few of the local unofficial servers are also lag free.

A lot of the US servers are really low pop right now but I don't know how they are at prime time.

Server 43 only has 17 players right now, whereas other servers that are also local have like 45+

I'm going to log in and make sure there isn't a reason for it to be low pop. Heh.

-edit-Wait, now it's at 50 people. Heh.

aww, I went away for an hour and I missed the cave charge :(
well, post when you find a good server! personally, I doubt I can help seeking. If US players are a majority, my european ping means little.

Well the american servers are mostly full prime time too, so may need to go an unofficial one. Trick is finding one that won't close up shop, that's what happened to the one I was on before I think - it's not in the list anymore (I checked my list of ones I have chars on and it isn't showing up).

Although for you guys, your prime time they should always be half empty hehe.
