Gonna set up the game tomorrow, and it seems like we're going medieval! Anyways, see ya tomorrow.

Question, why didn't anyone like the pulp setting? I would've thought more people would like the idea of old school comic action. Curious
Personally I like the other settings fantastical elements better.

Looks like I broke the tie.
Anyway, this looks pretty great. I've been thinking about running a game with the system for a while now, but I'm just not confident in my ability to GM. I'l edit my sheet into this post. :D

Some notes: I don't like the magic system, so I'm going to replace it with the Perplexicon system(Imagine Dragon Shouts from Skyrim, with the Mage stat giving you more words), and an element system based off of medieval Alchemy

Fire

Also, for social conflicts and persuasion, I was thinking about having that play like a poker game, where you try to win your side of the argument. The rogue stat would give you more cards to play with.

Required to tell: You are a member of the Wyrm Lodge, a group of mercenaries. What brought you to them, and how did you prove yourself? It is possible to have been a young lad, and raised by them.
(The world is in a dark age after the fall of the Magi Empire. Think how Europe was after the Roman Empire fell.)
Attributes:
Distribute 10 attribute levels among the three attributes Warrior, Rogue, and Mage. No attribute may be higher than six.(Attributes CAN be 0)
Warrior:
Rogue:
Mage:

Skills:(Explain skill if custom made)
Pick three skills(Or an advance and basic skill)

Talent:
Pick one talent(Explain if custom made)
(Optional : Choose a non-human race for your character and write down the racial talents on your character sheet. For custom races: choose two racial talents and a racial drawback)


Calculate HP, Fate, Words of Power and Defense
HP = 6 + Warrior
Fate = 1x Rogue
Words of Power = 1x Mage(If Mage Skill is Taken)
Defense = (Warrior + Rogue)/2 + 4

New Talent: Mage- Allows you to speak Words of Power

Err, if we want to choose a race other than human, do we just use the templates that are provided in the main rulebook?

I found a new rule set, and I like it, but I'd rather not mess things up by just replacing this with the new thing. Do you prefer the Wyrm rules, or the one I'm thinking of using?

Here's the book, tell me what you think about it. One thing I found to be kinda troublesome Is it uses a 15 second real time timer for a part of combat, to keep things fast paced. Do you think ignoring that would be okay?
