IronyOwl:
Shakerag and Lenglon:
Tiruin:  Cast a vote.  Replace out.  Make a post.  Do something.
I look at Shakerag for 2 seconds, then nod and turn to face Tiruin.
What makes Tiruin different from me, DarkStar, or Deus Asmoth?
A vagina?

You I pretty much expect to be absent from most of the game.  DarkStar and Deus I just kind of forgot about.  Tiruin hasn't voted the entire game, and I can never read her well anyway, so inspection by roleflip it is.

Tiruin:
Are you really OMGUS voting me?

I intentionally killed myself N1.  I used the power that has been revealed in my partial roleflip.  For some reason (that I have not been privy to) it seems to have been continuously triggering every night without me doing anything.  I am wondering if someone used some ability on me that makes me repeat an action.

Is it a [KILL] action?  If you are trying to ask/imply if I can direct it at anyone else, then no.  Obviously it kills me ...  >_>

And I have no idea what ToonyMan has to do with you.

I'd like a very straightforward answer on it being a kill action please, before I continue posting. :P

@People voting me [esp. Lenglon]: ....What does Toony have to do with me?
Also @Shakerag There's a totally legit reason I was away for a week :) ...And 'lurking' is not a feasible answer.
Like srsly :I

I get out my phone. and play back the following recording:
4maskwolf.

Okay, so. I received a one-shot redirect yesterday. I didn't know how many actions I could do at night, so I submitted these two actions in the following order.

1. Redirect 4maskwolf to Tiruin.
2. Track IronyOwl

It felt like 4maskwolf was going to target me during the night, and I personally I wouldn't /want/ to burn my revive. Assuming the worst case scenario of a kill, I decided to redirect them to Tiruin. I usually distrust Tiruin so if there was a kill action I would be okay with it.

I tracked IronyOwl to make sure no funny business was going on with our confirmed townie.

You can only use one night-action per night, so Webadict only resolved one.

When today started I assumed that Webadict must have taken my latest action, because 4maskwolf claims to have killed me. However, it was my redirect that cleared, not the tracker. Webadict confirmed this to me via PM.

This means I have no results for what IronyOwl did, but it does raise a contradiction.

Did 4maskwolf really kill me? If so, how?

A few things could have happened.

1. 4maskwolf has a penetrating kill that ignores redirects.
2. My redirect was unsuccessful.
3. 4maskwolf believes he killed me, but they actually killed Tiruin (who is somehow immune to night-kills), and somebody else successfully killed me.

You know what I believe? 4maskwolf implied he would be killing me the day before, because he believes I was Flabort's "convert target" and when I flipped town today he would either not reveal himself or go some sort of good town vig route. I'm not exactly trusting.

If 4maskwolf is really town, then I think it's second most likely that somebody blocked my redirect (and I am unaware of it). Seeing as how somebody stole my vote, it wouldn't be too surprising.

How do we explain this?

Hum :< What I get was that something 4maskwolf something me.
Given that we have 2 consecutive nights (which work just like any other night as far as I read the ded-details), with the only difference being no DAY in between...I think it has something to do with 4mask and whatever he did @N2.

I don't know how to make that any more straightforward.  The action that kills me is the exact same one that was revealed in my flip.

Is it a "[KILL]" action?  No.  It's a "[SUICIDE]" action.

I was remarking on Toony's post you quoted, since the only idea I got about wondering about your vote was:
Lenglon:
Tiruin:  Cast a vote.  Replace out.  Make a post.  Do something.
I look at Shakerag for 2 seconds, then nod and turn to face Tiruin.

Why did you parrot Shakerag rather than pointing out other people who were lurking?
[snip]
I draw in the dirt:

Toony swap.
So I connected the first lines of Toony's post there.

4maskwolf.

Okay, so. I received a one-shot redirect yesterday. I didn't know how many actions I could do at night, so I submitted these two actions in the following order.

[...]
So that's what I'm wondering about. What you meant by Toony Swap.

If I've to add to that: I have no notice or indication that I was acted upon in the days prior. I am also not...err, immune or naturally [Auto] redirecting any kills.

Fish. Cursed fish.

Unvote.
I was taking that as if that 'kill' action IS a kill action. Because it 'kills'. Though aimed at yourself.
Stoopid technicalities. >_> [Yeah, to pierce the transparency, I'm talking about something I learned or tried to learn in the days prior about Shakerag.]
Right, catching up back there.

4maskwolf
So does a lynch of me lynch you and vice versa?
Regarding your position swap. Additional question: When can you change who you're swapping with- all the time, or only at phase change, or?

6 To Hammer. Day Ends Monday 6 PM Central.[/font]
We may want to extend, though given our abysmal track record for the day so far it might not help.

Why did you parrot Shakerag rather than pointing out other people who were lurking?
Why did you parrot me rather than do anything productive?

Deus Asmoth:
Can we have a poke on Ironyowl, please? I was legitimately surprised when I realised they were still in the game.
What makes me different from Tiruin, DarkStar, or yourself?
Including that one, you have five posts total participating in the game, not quite two a day. That's some hardcore lurking.
For the whole game, sure. You don't particularly mind the complete deflation today? Who do you want lynched?

Toony:
It felt like 4maskwolf was going to target me during the night
Why?
Shakerag: Hmm... I'm kinda in the same boat as you: it just seems a little too stupid as cover for a nightkill.  I have a theory about ToonyMan, but I want to test that theory tonight, so I'm not going to say too much about it.
So you didn't mind ruining what might have been an inspect or similar on yourself by shunting it to Tiruin?

You know what I believe? 4maskwolf implied he would be killing me the day before, because he believes I was Flabort's "convert target" and when I flipped town today he would either not reveal himself or go some sort of good town vig route. I'm not exactly trusting.

How does your belief explain anything? The issue is that your actions don't line up to his, from which you get that he's scum who was going to murder the target he suspected loudly and strongly enough that you knew he was going to action you that night, then not fess up to it the next day?

Sounds to me like your version has him as a town vig killing his top suspect.
Nah, what I'm saying is that I don't believe his cause. There was a game I was in prior where I was a vigilante and never claimed until the end. I was town. There were at least two fake vigilante claims in that game, they were scum. In other words, I'm inclined not to believe vig claims.
Supposedly it was a one-shot, though. You think that suffers from the same issue?

I think I meant to say "false pretense" there...
How dare you. Townvig is the finest precinct in this whole damned city.

Tiruin:
I AM ALIVE AND WELL (despite anomalous weather and a vulnerable health status prior to the writing of this post).
Sorry to hear about that. :<

Now that you're back, what's the focus of your reading/rereading been? Voting patterns, night action discussions, scumhunting, etc?

Shakerag:
IronyOwl:

Touche, that makes me sad, that concerns me how much attention are you paying to who's doing what, and fair enough why her and not Lenglon or say Toony I can't be the only one who has trouble reading him?

4mask:
Sorry, I had a hellishly busy weekend.

IronyOwl: Yes, used to.
Sorry to hear about that. However, this is still a suspiciously short answer to the less important of the two/three questions I asked you. You don't feel inspecting as scum while having a kill requires any particular explanation?

Lenglon: The Tiruin lead appears to have dried up. Now what?

Ironyowl: Tooney. He was doing his best to looks as scummy as possible towards the end of yesterday, which doesn't exactly fit into his claim of trying to get the scumteam to night kill him. Shamrock being scum points towards Tooney being flabort's new mafia ally, and while it's not the ideal lynch it's still better than not lynching him.

Toony redirect (4mask -> Tiruin)
Toony die, Toony revive, missing kill

4mask lie -> why Toony die, where other kill.
Toony lie -> where both other kills
Tiruin lie -> why Toony die, where other kill.
4th party -> block Toony? where other kills? (masskill Toony? 1 death noflip...)
4mask final scum -> why Toony die? penkill? where other kill?
Toony final scum -> where other kill? all 4mask? where Toony kill?
Laughing scum -> where scumkill(s)?
multi-lie -> maybe?
I move over to Shakerag and draw before him:

Suicide self-target or no-target?
I then turn to the group as a whole and draw in large block letters:

I then look around to see if anyone responds, glancing at the sun's Extended path across the sky.

IronyOwl: If only to shut you up, I'll explain.  My kill allowed me to take on the role of the person I killed, losing most of my abilities in the process.  As such, I now possess ToonyMan's role, which is how I know he has the track he claims to have.
