I AM ALIVE AND WELL (despite anomalous weather and a vulnerable health status prior to the writing of this post).
Sorry to hear about that. :<

Now that you're back, what's the focus of your reading/rereading been? Voting patterns, night action discussions, scumhunting, etc?

hugs to you too :)
And my focus has mainly been drawn thus far onto the main areas of today--claimed actions, and 4mask (of whom I have an inkling is testing out his gambit powers.)
Anyway, I am very curious as to what's going on between Toony and 4mask. >_>
...And that's as far as I could read before being sidetracked to post literally everywhere else because of this backlog--I will give this a THOROUGH re-read today though!

I then look around to see if anyone responds, glancing at the sun's Extended path across the sky.
Not I! :D
If I get kill'd, someone gets a one-shot kill! It's totally random.

HOWEVER, given my recent insights...well, speculative insights which would be better if I just fullclaimed <_< I have a very...distinct feeling that there's some kind of resurrect-mayhem about.

Toony: Do you honestly have any abilities that make you resurrect? [I have selective memory, bear with me; I may have read it before and completely forgotten about it right now]

IronyOwl: If only to shut you up, I'll explain.  My kill allowed me to take on the role of the person I killed, losing most of my abilities in the process.  As such, I now possess ToonyMan's role, which is how I know he has the track he claims to have.
Rude :v

I take a few slow, deep breaths, then pull out my knife, and aim it at TheDarkStar. I then draw in the dirt between us.

IronyOwl:
Touche, that makes me sad, that concerns me how much attention are you paying to who's doing what, and fair enough why her and not Lenglon or say Toony I can't be the only one who has trouble reading him?
I have a chronic issue with being unable to get a read on Tiruin.  Lenglon and Toony feel like I could at least have a foothold on if I was to start digging into reading them in more detail.

To pre-empt your next question:  Why am I not digging into them in more detail yet?  Laziness and apathy from everyone else is contagious.

Lenglon:
Quote from: Me
Suicide self-target or no-target?
I then turn to the group as a whole and draw in large block letters:
Quote from: Me
Any Bulletproof? kills missing. analysis fail.
Um.  I guess it's a no target, since webadict usually explicitly labels abilities if they are targeting.  Hence why abilities can be marked as self-targeting.
Also, no bulletproof or redirecting shenanigans over here.

Extend.  Peeps are actually talking now.

I have a chronic issue with being unable to get a read on Tiruin.
I think GlyphGryph summarized that once: Tiruin is cute. It is hard to judge someone who is sincerely cute.
Paraphrased from memory anyway: It's something I'm wondering and have always wondered about [because what is cute .-.] but anyway. 'Tis reasonable how you pay attention to me--but...I'm wondering why you're not asking me about many plentiful things I've said, given how little I've said.

Deus:
Ironyowl: Tooney. He was doing his best to looks as scummy as possible towards the end of yesterday, which doesn't exactly fit into his claim of trying to get the scumteam to night kill him. Shamrock being scum points towards Tooney being flabort's new mafia ally, and while it's not the ideal lynch it's still better than not lynching him.
So... why vote him at the start of the day, then sit on it doing literally nothing, and only explain this now?

That bit about the deflation wasn't rhetorical, by the way. Why did you mind me lurking through the game, but weren't bothered by several people, yourself included, lurking through the day?

4mask:
IronyOwl: If only to shut you up, I'll explain.  My kill allowed me to take on the role of the person I killed, losing most of my abilities in the process.  As such, I now possess ToonyMan's role, which is how I know he has the track he claims to have.
That's fascinating, but I'm actually more concerned about:

Because it was night.  Twice.  And I didn't want to give anything away before I could check my theory about Toonyman.  Plus, given that I was swapped with someone else, I was going to claim it if/when they turned up mafia or with my roleclaim.
So... you weren't going to claim it until and unless you absolutely had to. Why not? What would claiming it have damaged regarding your investigation (ie murder) of ToonyMan?
Plus why you've been ignoring it up until now, obviously.

Why did you parrot me rather than do anything productive?

Your post asked about why he asked about Tiruin rather than other people. My post asked why he copied Shakerag. Totally different questions.

Explain? There was no NQT wagon when I voted for him (I was the second voter; I delayed voting because of jester concerns). I was the first serious voter on BMC. Where do you see distancing and why was it scummy for me to vote for NQT? Where do you see evidence of me chainsawing you? Quotes tend to help.

PPE: IronyOwl said it first  ::)

I'm also going to Extend so that today isn't wasted. Also so that I have more time before I die - I'm dead at the end of today because of my role.

If 4maskwolf has my whole role now, we may have some issues, like my revive for instance.

Extend so I can make a proper post at some point.

PFP Got a bit more oriented of what's going on. Totally lack time to detail it all. Will post later. Love to have gotten back with everything in a few dedicated hours though.

I get the feeling that this Mafia's theme might well be the transferal of roles upon death. See: 4mask has a kill that copies the role of the person he kills, Tiruin gives away a one-shot kill on her death, NQT's whole thing.

4maskwolf
When can you change who you're swapping with- all the time, or only at phase change, or?
Irrelevant now, since I lost that ability.

Answer me for curiosities sake?

Hey, here's another question- is there anything in Toony's role that you inherited that would make him (or others) resurrect? Toony seems to think so. Toony: Can we lynch 4mask without wasting the day?

Yes, there is a revive.  A fairly powerful one, actually.  I won't reveal full details out of respect for Toonyman, but yes, I will revive if you lynch me.

It was once per phase at any time, Cheeet, since I no longer have that role so it isn't relevant anymore.  Now are you going to explain why you wanted to know?

(I shouldn't have a vote but I'll Unvote 4maskwolf anyway)

Toony:
It felt like 4maskwolf was going to target me during the night
Why?
Shakerag: Hmm... I'm kinda in the same boat as you: it just seems a little too stupid as cover for a nightkill.  I have a theory about ToonyMan, but I want to test that theory tonight, so I'm not going to say too much about it.
So you didn't mind ruining what might have been an inspect or similar on yourself by shunting it to Tiruin?
Because of my ability, I was taking my chances that they would kill me.

Supposedly it was a one-shot, though. You think that suffers from the same issue?
It was a one-shot because he killed and copied my role. :P

@Cheeetar:
If 4maskwolf knows my revive is powerful, he definitely has my full role information. I don't know if he's lying about whether or not he actually has my role, but let's assume he really does. We will waste the lynch if we try. I wouldn't recommend killing him at night either, it actually benefits my ability...

I guess you can think of it like a backwards jester, sorry guys. It was Webadict who gave me the role, I just gave a name.

The best idea I can think of now is if somebody could inspect myself and 4maskwolf tonight. Nobody try to kill us. Well, you can kill me if you want, but don't try to kill 4maskwolf.

I just realized IO asked me sommat.

IronyOwl: a multitude of reasons.  One: by the time I actually realized the implications of ToonyMan trying to clear Cheeet, I was already convinced that Shamrock was mafia, and I didn't want to derail the lynch.  Two: I didn't want him lynched so that I could stealify his role, because I hate being that vigilante who randomkills.  And three, because if he was a mafia-ally I didn't want to tip him off too much that I was onto him: testing a theory sounds a lot less threatening than "you're a scum ally you scummy scum scum".

Why I've been ignoring it?  I've not been.  I missed the question and you never gave me a copy of it until now.  I don't ignore questions.
