It's ironic that this might have worsened the Canadian position, since the Romans can now occupy two more provinces to fund their war effort.

Instead of sharing just with Sheb, I've decided to give this for discussion and such:

The governing body is comprised of high priests of the nation's major religion, and the population is fooled with the promises of heaven, afterlife or what have you. People of the Theocracy look with disapproval at their neighbours and those eccentric 'scientists', while other Theocracies are potential targets for elimination.

Defenders of the Faith: If amount of Provinces currently held by the Theocracy falls below 5, Theocracy armies gain +1 to their Defense rolls. Capital Province gains extra +1 Defense bonus (stacks with the bonus of the first half of this trait).
Sacred Warfare: Theocracies can declare Holy Wars upon their enemy (only 1 at a time); during Holy War, Theocracy gains +1 to all Attack rolls against the target of the Holy War (+2 if its another Theocracy). However, Peace Treaty cannot be signed unless Theocracy conquers at least 1 Province belonging to the target of the Holy War.
Faith before Science: Theocracies have hard cap on the base RP/Turn equal to 10! and their Academies only grant 1 RP per Turn. Also, Research Treaties grant +2 RP per Turn for the Theocracy, instead of usual +4.
You hold a rather poor view of theocracies, don't you?
It would really need to be -2, at minimum. Don't have a defensive bonus against the targets of their Holy War, have a very conditional defensive bonus (you're not going to come back from being reduced to five provinces, not with a hard cap on RP/turn), research is massive in the game as far as I can tell...

I'd remove the five provinces thing and just give a flat +1 defense. You're not going to bounce back from being cut down that badly, and this way it just drag the inevitable end.

Sure if I can do a naval combat between your fleet and Roman fleet and possibly undo Sicilian marine offensive cuz after checking the maps to see who the ghost fleet is, it turns out to be Roman fleet that I kept recoloring wrong v:

PS: If you agree it's +2 (militaristic, shells) for you and +1 (militaristic) for Romans :v

Romans' units check out with status sheet. Uhhhh.

It's been a good game guys. Canada stays with Belgium, I'll die in maybe six turns, at most. They stay with me and we hold out for I'm thinking at least a dozen. Rome chose the perfect time to ruin our alliance. Ottoman deciding that helping my allies constituted wanton aggression didn't help either. Soon as he gets tanks and my territory, my guess is he'll destroy Karelia first, then mebbe the Ottomans, and then either he'll have won.

There really is no recovering from this, so long as people keep going the way they've been going.
