"Really? You would rather go for the thing that kills hounds and full grown bulls than go for the one that is just scary? I was leaning more towards the second one, personally. I mean, according to this contract it won't attack us on sight, and maybe we can solve that one peacefully. And if we can't, we can still bash its fooking head in. Assuming it has one. heh."

Kostadin looked over the contracts carefully, and nodded with Landau's suggestion.  "Wouldn't surprise me if both deal with the same creature.  If they're different, though, that one is probably the more immediate threat to Notandar.  Probably should focus on the horse-attacker, but keep the other in mind when investigating."

Nothing else worth noting. Some complaints, some hunters bragging about their successes, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Landau waved dismissively. "Yes, yes. That is what I had in mind. Both horse and bear are large animals, so the beast responsible for these attacks might be the same. In case they are different, however, a beast that attacks living creatures seems to pose more of a threat than one interested in corpses."

"I do suppose that means we are set on the first one." he said, taking the contract. "We should begin asking questions."

Kolo simply stared at Emma for a moment, having never even worn makeup herself.
After an uncomfortable pause, she shrugs. "It's all much the same," she says, "The same payment and very vague details. This one will probably mean a bit more searching to find, though- we'll have to track it from the grave. I reckon we can do it."
She nods, then reaches for the contract.

If Emma doesn't change her mind, we will take the first contract: the desecrated grave.
Let's go track down the person who placed it and find out where this grave is and what they know.
