Post your name and what would you do if you want to participate. The posting order will be the playing order.

Each round takes 24 or 48 hours depending on which one is more popular.

You can do anything with the world

(but no extensive modding, only for enabling human and elf "fortresses" for embark to resurrect civs.)

Hello!

I have made an interesting world, and i thought that before I do anything to it, I ask you, what would you do? Write down what comes first to your mind.

I will upload the files if anyone wants them, also the files for the legends viewer.

http://www.2shared.com/document/zs6Qwj9u/region3-00400-01-01-world_site.html site data and populations
http://www.2shared.com/document/WmvqfGMa/region3-world_gen_param.html worldgen parameters

Here is the default map:

The Ageless Plains

Yes, all that purple are goblin settlements. Their population is more than 100000, including troll and an elephant devil. They are at war with the dwarves.

I checked the legends, and saw 12 dwarves and 10 humans alive, so I thought, okay they are still alive.

Turns out those were just Gods. Both human and dwarven settlements are empty (one hydra is in the capital of the dwarves).

The elves are isolated from the rest of the world (the only land route to them is through the ice up north), they protect themselves from the ravagings of beasts, titans and colossi by substantial number of jaguars.

Basically you can find many lairs where several dragons, demons, titans, bronz colossi, hydras, rocs and ettins live in peace.

Kobolds didn't died out yet, because one of them managed to kill at least 50 goblins and is an expert in everything, however their settlement is in ruins.

Humans died out by the year 6.

The dwarves had their last king Iden tourcharcoal fled into the forest to live with giant dingoes, then he died of old age as he saw his entire civilization go extinct because of The War of Smokes, this was the first and the last war on this continent.

-----

Personally I am planning to make human and dwarven adventurers, and settle them in the abandoned towns (are retired adventurers make children to populate the world?).

Then I'll create a fortress in the vast forest in the middle of the map, abandon it, and reclaim it with elven adventurers so I can have 3 caravans for future trading, instead of 0.

Then I would create an adventurer and kill all of the megabeasts and semi-megabeasts, then turn on the demon lord of the goblins.

-----

What would you do with this world? Will you avenge the dwarves?

Or do you want a succession world? (like a succession fort, but with a whole world and each one of us improves a little bit on it).

Wow that's a lot of goblins...
what level of evil is that evil ocean btw?
ersonally I am planning to make human and dwarven adventurers, and settle them in the abandoned towns (are retired adventurers make children to populate the world?).
I do not think they can have children no.  at least not yet, I'm sure it's planned that they get married and up to no good in general when we're not babysitting them in the future

I don't think retiring adventurers at a site will reclaim it, but you could edit the raws to make elves playable in fortress mode and just reclaim and insta-retire a site for them (not sure if it's too late to change raws once world is genned but you can always reverse engineer the seed)

It would be interesting to trace the ancestry of the kings from embark to embark - if Players were to A) Not immediately slaughter all the royalty and B) rename them to all have the same "nickname" as soon as they're born. (using that as the family name, and the second one generated by the RNG for the individual's name)

I am not really decided on this. I thought you know the answer better, because I never participated in a succession game.

However since we don't have any forts yet, the traditional 1 dwarven year is out of the picture.

So I was thinking maybe 24 hours or 48 hours, no more.

You have the set time interval, to do anything with the world, what you think will improve it (I guess nobody would make feuds with other people and ruin their contribution).

You can modify the raws to make human or elven settlements or adventurers.

Basically you will be God for a set amount of time.

P.S. The Ocean is the most evil place on the contient (instant drowned zombie dwarves).

I'd probs just make an adventurer, steal equipment from goblins, and test my luck against semi-megabeasts.

Not sure if dying of old age is an honor or a shame for weaponmasters. On the one hand, it means they never got the opportunity to die in glorious battle. On the other hand, it means nothing could beat them in glorious battle.

This is crazy, but I have generated another world. And gues what the dwarves are extinct, just like humans and elves. But kbolds took over an abandoned human hamlet and goblins took the one next to it.

So you can start as a human outsider or a kobold or goblin in adventure mode.

Also there is a roc called Irene, who was born 256 years after worldgen, but already killed fifty people.

The world is relatively vanilla, I just wasted 3 adventurers, 1 to boogeyman, 1 to alligators, and another to his own campfires (his generated name was crazybrains).

This one also has a human town and several hamlets so it is more interesting (but less goblins).

It has six ages of myth and five ages of legends.

Would you want this world or the other?

Please state your intention if you would like to play or not, so we can begin the first round.

Or you can just download the files and inspect the worlds.

Hmm i have really cool world too (i played in it about six times in adventures and it is absolutely higest fun i have ever had) but story is too long and too difficult too be translated fast(about 60 pages in short variant) and so i only post this and this and probadly this to make you understand epic crazienest of this story (it's about one city there lived a lot of priest's of different religions these hate elves and made a lot of earings and ofer art objects from their bones) but theirs end? i think was terrible and investible if i don't try to save them from angry elves.
But.... thay i say it all? i think that the !!!scince i will do in my turn will be somethink with revolutions an so on
