Well I am slightly disappointed
Vault Spoilers... one of the early vaults
So I find Vault 75 and find out that it is basically a vault where children are separated and trained militarily and scientifically for... Actually I have no idea what exactly the experiment is supposed to be in this case...
So they have a problem and a fire causes one of their important pieces of equipment to need replacing making them open the vault... and then...
Whelp we don't know.
Honestly the implication COULD be that the Gunners are actually Vault 75 Dwellers... it would actually make a lot of sense given the layout, as well as the fact that Vault 75 was pretty much a militaristic vault with a large fighting force more then capable of fending off a few raiders. Add in that there are few actual corpses to be found.
Yet it never really elaborates more. HECK I wanted to know a bit more about how the children and parents felt, but there were no real messages left behind.
It was all premise but no substance... I feel like I am back in New Vegas.
Add in that the layout and items make absolutely no sense. (Enemies behind doors that ONLY can be opened by someone... outside because no one inside has the keycard) and it was just a flub all around.
Also curse you game! I had Turret control protocols but I was stupid and forgot to eject it and now it is who knows where. Why developers why!?!

Finally turned my resource deficiency around... I guess looting everything bare has its advantages.
I kind of want to make a list of every object in the game that is surprisingly useful for example
1) Pencils: One of the few sources of lead... which is odd given that Pencils never had lead EVER.
2) Teddybears: Leather (and you need a lot of leather)
3) Fallout Boardgame: Radioactive material O_O
4) Baseballs: Cork!
5) Paint: Oil... Though to be fair, I thought this would be Lead given the time period.
6) Life Preservers: Screw? Wait what?
7) Cigarette packages/packs: Your best source of Asbestos, you will never need to carry fire extinguishers again.
Cooking Pot: Copper, note that all other "Cooking" items contain only steel
9) Coffee Pot: Asbestos and something else.
As well as ones that are oddly useless
1) test tubes and beakers: Only Glass, no crystal here
2) Cryogenic pumps: Only steel?
3) Scalpels: Only steel... only a surprise if you know what some can be made of.
4) Mop: Wood and Steel.
Though I probably should just make a list of objects you never need to pick up. But that would be a long list
