I suppose I should clarify on the nature of Markus' insanity, since it isn't random: he was merciful (to humans) and mirthful before the whole corruption thing happened, and he will remain merciful and mirthful even when he shouldn't, like when people are getting murdered. He will absolutely descend upon any vampires, and probably won't be terribly merciful to undead or even werewolves, though.

One exception to the whole mirth and mercy thing is when he has been seriously wounded. At that point he drops his cheer and morals altogether, and will absolutely get murderous on people.

Also, he sometimes forgets things and can have trouble distinguishing reality and fantasy. This will get worse if he gets Descent into Madness.

But do you want people to go around killing canon characters? I thought the game would avoid getting us involved against that kind of character due to their nature and importance. Hence why I'm still considering having Varkakl skedaddle, or simply watch the whole thing at best since he had reason to fight the arresters - what he perceived as unjustified and deadly aggression against the group - while Lavinia simply seems to have a beef with Ral.

Also, I find it hilarious that she thinks she can stop a planeswalker that isn't right off the boat.

I mean there's a reason they aren't destroyed, they withdraw.

They're basically Gods. Moreso than the GODS.

Seriously by rights she should get oneshot as soon as combat starts.

And she might actually be a reasonable worry... if she wasn't the enemy commander.

Because being the enemy commander means she can't shift herself, meaning she can't spam her enter, which is probably the best thing she has.

Which reminds me I need more counterspells. I think Red still has around two good anti-blue counterspells and some artifact destroyers - all with quite acessible rarity -, and Overmaster seems like a good choice for someone who wants to go around destroying stuff with damage.
