Yeah, sorry I'm being slow!

Immediately after returning home from Morro Bay (camp site: 35.401250, -120.867073; proposal location abouts 35.399869, -120.868871), me and one of my best friends immediately took off to Lava Beds National Monument to check out a potential property at 41.6500841 -121.2845993, and camped at about 41.687923, -121.532742 after exploring Tickner Cave again. I got home, slept for most of the time, and went back to the fiancee.

Drama ensued with some friends. Then, yesterday, the fiber optic lines got cut for the area...

I'm not letting it die, I'm just a bit occupied. I would have said something yesterday, but, yeah.

Close, but Takeover is right there as well, and Honor can wait 'til after Takeover. We could mark them as Mission One: Takeover

Well, here goes.

We copied the "human" gestures of tilting Our head sideways and stretching the opening to Our mouth to indicate amused confusion, true-hands signing as Our antennae twitched. From the small box at Our side came the crude representation of Our voice in a way these assorted non-Kai could comprehend without undue pain:

"We concern Ourself little with the petty squabbles of the Terrans, and feel that it is in our best interest to cultivate this Terran High Drone. As the Flowers require roots, so do We and so do we."

Our true-hands gestured, seven clawed fingertips pointing and gesturing, before turning to Our sister-queen.

<What say Us, Our sister? Do we agree?> I asked silently as the translator gibbered pure thoughts into muddled vibrations, and turned Our head to Our sister as the machine's sound stopped.

Not all of them. Thank God, I don't own enough alcohol to tolerate them; I've already stocked the fridge to deal with the two coming with their little chihuahuas.
