Heh, thanks for the nice comments. Ideas just flowed to me once I read 'demon lords'.

I suspect the rather huge character app might put off potential players, but let's hope more people show up. All those lovely inspiring categories got my brain flowing.

Thanks! Interesting enough, the central kernel that the rest of the character bloomed from was "hydra", from there it developed into "someone who is militantly lazy" and only then did the dream stuff appear.

I really like your "flesh-language" concept though.

Name: Vas'nox

Epithet: the Sanguine Arachnid, Father of Ill Fates, The Eternal Weeper of Red.

Physical Description: Vas'nox is a death wraith. He has a skeletal upper body with six arms, his bones are jet black with a metallic shine, as he does not have a lower body half and is constantly floating in midair. His skeletal torso and head are covered in a blood colored hooded robe which seems to be constantly bleeding.

Mental Description: Vas'nox has been known for having the patience of stone, willing to wait for the right time and place for his schemes. If there was a creature that could describe him and his scheming ways it would be the spider, he weaves his webs of plots and lays in wait for he enjoys watching the flies struggle in his web of schemes. While he is a schemer, he also loyal to those whom have done him right in the past and has shown that he worthwhile ally and a fatal enemy to be made, especially if he is betrayed. He is calm never truly showing his true intentions or emotions, only close allies are ever shown his emotions or given details to what he is currently plotting.

Bio: Vas'nox was created from the collective will of souls that were tortured and killed with the inability to resist their oppressors, Vas'nox rose from the dead on the night of a red moon. When the Wraith of death, clad in crimson rose, the oppressors whom had been the ones with overwhelming power over the poor souls, now were trembling in fear at what their actions created. Vas'nox killed every last one of the oppressors in anger, some went quickly with clean deaths, others were toyed with before they were killed, it had been what the souls had wished for. However with their deaths, Vas'nox became a single minded entity as the souls of the past were satiated and pasted on.
    A few decades later upon hearing rumors of the City of Bloom, Vas'nox grew curious as to what the city had to offer and ventured there. It was here he felt powerlessness his past lives had felt when he compared himself to many of the beings that dwelled in the city. Vas'nox realized he could not stay as he was, he needed to gather more power in order to prevent experiencing the same powerlessness his past lives had gone through.
Affiliations
-Asudarai Kei Talmalach, Empress of Strength: Currently the master of Vas'nox and as such Vas'nox hold her in high regards. Though it was not always this way he had at one point been her enemy, during his early decades in the City of Bloom he had managed to build a small power base within her territory. This was an insult to the Empress and could not be tolerated but she had heard rumors of the Wraith and the clever schemes he would employ to raise in power. So she invited Vas'nox to her home to for a "discussion". When he got there she stated that if he did not join her, she would destroy him, leaving him little choice Vas'nox pledged himself to serve her. The Empress of Strength soon learned how Vas'nox came to be and was impressed that his past lives over came death in order to avenge themselves. Seeing potential in Vas'nox she made him her apprentice teaching him how to gain status and power ever since.

- Ntytocrypt, is an aberration that resembles a large barracuda that is capable of communicating through telepathy, floats in the air and has the ability to go into a sub-dimensional which allows him to listen in on the nearby area. While he excels at information gathering, but he doesn't have many techniques to use to defend himself from attackers, preferring to stay hidden than fighting. He is currently Vas'nox spy master, if Vas'nox is found talking to himself there is good chance that he is speaking to Ntytocrypt.
- Countess Shylas von Black-Blood is a Vampire Noble whom deals in trade all over the city but does not specialize in any one good for long, whether it is gems, slaves, etc. She precurs items for Vas'nox from time to time, if he has a particularly item hes looking for she will aquire it for him, well at a price. Shylas became allies when Vas'nox "dealt with" her husband in a business deal before his disappearance allowing the Black-Bloods to prosper.
-Sir Mordred, a ghost of a human whom was was a brilliant tactician and fighter when he was alive and for the right price is more than willing to fight on behalf of Vas'nox or advise him on tactics when the need arises.

Name: embran darkwisp the brightest flame of night

Epithet: the night that shines like the sun .
Physical Description: though he posses the ability to shapeshift , he tends to remain in a human like form, but with red eyes that perice the darkness, and hair so dark its like staring into a void.  other forms include a black dragon with golden eyes and wings of flame, and a cloud of ash mixed with motes of light.


Mental Description: this demon is actually rather benevolent. treating those that serve him quite kindly. this is not to say he does not enjoy a bit of bloodshed from time to time. he keeps an arena. he wants to shape a society that pleases him. though something are planed ahead of time, much of his work is just him making stuff up as he goes along.


Bio: born from nothing he gained life, and when the people cried out for a king he answered. he wants to create, to shape, and to live. though kind, woe to he who arouses his wrath, and pray thee that his whims are merciful.

he Is good at altering, shaping, and creating things, and also manipulating energy.

-Telu and Mar, Master of Souls (they enjoy each others company, and like to share tips on manipulating souls, embran also finds them cute.)
-Soulrot, Master of Servants (embran respects soulrot and his abilty to get mortals to enjoy there work.)
-Wrack, Master of Implements(embran likes his creations, and his little insane ramblings. Wrack, likes having someone listien to him, and even carry on conversations with)
-Miku, Master of Flesh(though born with some knowledge of shaping flesh, embran's works were rough. miku gave him some pointers)

Contacts
-karan- embrans loyal servant this red skinned girl wll do anything he ask, her loyalty is born from embran rescuing her from a group of ruffians. she has a single simple tail, and blond hair.
-nan- an elemental being, that keeps in touch with embran.
-shades darkness- this guy is a bit unnerving to some, but he is actually quite harmless.....unless you threaten him..... he can blend in with the shadows and tends to provide embran with any info he has learned.

But seriously, you might want to work on that character a bit. "Sprang into existence from nothing" is kind of boring without any further backstory. Just to be clear it's the people of Miraga that cried for a king and caused him to exist? Doesn't this mean he might not have the best relations with the Lords of Bloom due to the fact that he suddenly appeared and took a seat? Or at the very least, had no time so far to build up the relations he seems to have so far.

Also, Embran Darkwisp? Like seriously?

It's better, yeah, though still a little unclear; I'm guessing you noticed this, but your backstory manages to be long without actually saying a ton. Basically a decadent master artisan looking to make more masterpieces for the joy of doing so, in addition to the eating and sleeping stuff?

Well that's interesting, because that looks like a complete sheet already.

Mostly, though that's probably more bold than you need.

It does feel a bit barebones at the moment; parts of it feel like you either couldn't quite make up your mind or didn't bother to decide on what your character was like. He popped out of nowhere for no reason, decided to help Miraga because they wanted him to help, is nice except when he's not, and wants to change things. That's... not very specific, as demonic backstories go. The bit about the arena and wanting to mold society to his whims are probably the most detailed parts, but even there we don't have any details about what or why.

But seriously, you might want to work on that character a bit. "Sprang into existence from nothing" is kind of boring without any further backstory. Just to be clear it's the people of Miraga that cried for a king and caused him to exist? I was reading it as springing out of nothing for no stated reason, then answering the call for a king independent of that. Which still suffers from the stated issue of not being a very interesting birth or ascension.

It's better, yeah, though still a little unclear; I'm guessing you noticed this, but your backstory manages to be long without actually saying a ton. Basically a decadent master artisan looking to make more masterpieces for the joy of doing so, in addition to the eating and sleeping stuff?

More or less correct. And yeah, I really need to master brevity. I ended writing more of a story than a summary and liked it enough that I ended up using it.
