All my XP was spent, Nobody.
All, I'd like to roll availability on Flak cloak (errata'd to All, 3AP, 80 thrones, scarce), and if so I'd sell my flak jacket and buy that instead, giving me an extra 20 thrones.
Also, I'm keeping those 12 shotgun shells, please. I plan to get a better shotgun later, but for now, not getting my organs shot out of my torso is more important.
And because the character is still rather skeletal without a description and backstory.
Karna is a tall, well built woman, her skin the colour of chocolate. Her lips are blood-red with her habitual lipstick, her long hair dyed a similar colour and pulled into a tall ponytail. Her eyes are a deep emerald green, but that fails to hide the cruelty within.
She wears - a memento from her last job - what is almost a parody of a military uniform. A proper guard-issue flak [cloak/jacket] is left open to reveal her green-and-black corset and skirt, the skirt reaching to just cover the tops of her thigh-high boots. Atop her head is a peaked cap. A sabre, ornate, is sheathed at her side.
Karna was born to a different name, of course, to a noble house n the Alzakar Hive on Gorgal-4. The noble house was dying: the Lord was mad, the Lady dead, the money gone - Karna decided to find a life elsewhere. Her sister could carry on as the heir of the house - Karna had no patience to wait for inheritance, and poisoning the others was too risky.
She found a job at the Carnivora, the grand bloodsport circus of the hive. Not as a fighter, oh no - but as an announcer and spokeswoman for the interests of the circus. Rare and vicious beasts, criminals, gladiators and the occasional Ecclesiarchy execution of those accused of witchery and heresy.
Such a place, by quantity of materials moving and people coming and going, become hotbeds for crime and smuggling. It's how they get the best goods, of course. In doing so she's made contacts in the underworld, that, with a bit of luck, span the sector, provided her flutters her eyelashes.
Eventually, something gained the Inquisition's attention... and in the ensuing crackdown, she managed to talk the Inquisitor into hiring her. This could be interesting...
