Looking wistful, Mavnon looked out to the void. "Though this sun and planet I leave up to your decisions, I do believe I can contribute a celestial body. Anyone interested in it's creation?"

Mavnon conjured an image of a small planetoid surrounded by a ring and what seemed to be a glass sphere. "I call it the Mad Moon."

 A ringed planetoid surrounded by a sphere of transparent ether, the Mad Moon is not bound to orbit around any celestial body and simply wanders around Creation. It unnaturally has a self-propagating system of chemical processes originating from its core  that ensure that life is sustainable on the planet regardless of its position. When the Mad Moon is visible on other planets, all forms of magic, divination and emotion are increased. It also has the effect of causing Madness (i.e, having an insatiable desire to cause/be involved with Conflict) in those who stare for too long at it.

Madness? That's no good when trying to progress. I won't support it but I won't do anything to stop it's creation either. If it becomes problematic I might attempt to destroy it though, so be careful with that thing.
