Tick 17: Saint Stirk

New Kingdom Invasion: Oddly enough, the New Kingdom's army assaulting the Aag seems to have retreated, fast enough to almost be called vanishing! Naturally, most events centering around them have been canceled. Nobody knew what was happening anyway...

Skolld offers a new Transformation to the elemental wolves! It seems to be much less popular then the other transformations, possibly because of the lesser amount of advantages it offers. Many still take it, especially those who live in the Hearths of the mortal races.(Skolld -2E)

And the beast shall come forth surrounded by a roiling cloud of vengeance. The house of the unbelievers shall be razed and they shall be scorched to the earth. Their tags shall blink until the end of days.-The Dream Journal of Mozilla, a Fire Fox, after having a nightmare.

Lithus/Luthus begins an investigation to the Academic institutions he had created, searching for any corruption or criminal activity. He finds none, the criminal element does not seem to be particularly interested in studying anything. However, oddly enough, the population begins small-scale riots after receiving falsified records showing corruption and crime running rampant in the schools. Rumors say the Crime Lord was aware of the effort, and decided to act while they where vulnerable.

The Adventuring party welcomes the challenge, and go further with renewed energy. Despite vanquishing many powerful enemies and going ever deeper into the dungeon, they have found no clue to the location of the beast. They consider returning to the fragments, assuming he has left this location.

Spinning Maag Child: Oh! I see!
The Child proceeds to change into her mother's oversized winter cloths, and proceeds to inform the other kids that Lithus/Luthus wants them to make a similar Major Change because it is quite cool out.

Maag scout: It is not something Mortals can hope to face! Whatever it is fills my nightmares...
Saag Graveman: I see My Na-I will set to these preparations.

The Aag nation is informed that they should call My Name by his name. The title still sticks with Worshipers far from the Aag nation, who where not informed under this order.

The Aurors who are legal have been granted citizenship! The population seems to treat them like foreigners rather than citizens, with no way to tell who is and who isn't a citizen at a glance, despite the order. The Aurors are then granted the blessing of having their urges for wealth and power stunted! Unfortunately, this seems to have some negative side effects, many no longer wish to get anything more then what they have. Many simply stop doing anything but eating and sleeping. (Lithus/Luthus -2E)

The Fertility of the Aag species is increased! The major cities begin expanding at a drastically increased rate in order to successfully house everyone. Several new cities have been founded along the Frontier, several in disputed areas. (Lithus/Luthus -allP)

The Amulet of Invention is granted to Sankis! At first, he wraps it around his ring finger while crying softly. Then, his eyes open wide as he wipes the tears away. He makes several apparently pointless temporary portals leading several feet away before wearing the Amulet as normal and thanking you for this wonderful gift. Inspired by similar examples in other Countries, he opens his own Machine Priest University (MPU) in order to follow your orders of teaching. (Gai-gen -allE)

The Worship of Mavnon is banned in Aag territory, with all of his churches being torn down! Despite Patronius's worship not being banished, due to the nature of the High Church, several of his own are also torn down and many Patronius worshipers become outlaws. Naturally, Fredrick is angered by this.

Patronius assists the Aurors in building their new nation! They are granted amazing abilities: Loggers chop down mighty trees with a single axe slice, Levelers act as almost bulldozers, and the fields are as large and lush as a prairie. The City gets created in the blink of an eye, with the Massive Cathedral as the centerpiece. Fredrick and the CRDs send out emissaries, with many from High-Church friendly lands immigrating here. (Patronius -allP, allE)

Floating Island Human: Praise Nilva! This island feels like home now! (Nilva-1P)
The Wolflife seems to have some difficulty living on such a strange area, many of which failing to compete with the already present wildlife. Those not taken in by the humans have a much lower chance of survival than in the main world.

Great Tribe Guardsman:
Nilva investigates the chanting, finding nothing. The accused state that they are blamed for any strange happenings, regardless of if it is their fault or not.

Nighttime Human Minstrel: Bah, just when I get the ability to block them out you wish me to subject myself to them again? Very well...

Nilva grants NHM the ability to understand the wolf songs, which he reluctantly decides to use by taking down the Cone of Silence around him. He closes his eyes and gives a deep breath as wolf howls fill the air. After a few minutes of simply listening, he opens his eyes. Then opens them wider, and screams over the howls. He sprints as fast as he can in the opposite direction of the Nomads, screaming the whole time. (Nilva -1E)

Nomadic Nomad: Nothing to harm us? Right! Nothing to harm us! We are invincible! INVINCIBLE!
The group proceeds to travel through New Kingdom Lands. They are never heard from again. Other Nomads believe they had either been completely killed or absorbed into the New Kingdom, and rumor that some high-quality Wolf pelts being sold on the Maag black market had been imported from their last location.

Huon is flooded with googly eyes! He eventually finds out the cause of this, and begins attempting to get around it by handing out bags from his room to children and his apprentices, having them do the act themselves. Lithus/Luthus assists him in cleaning up his bedroom, though the poor guy still ends up sleeping on a massive pile of them for several weeks. (Nilva -1P)

Space Weaver Clothier: Not nearly enough left to be able to match that production...

The CRDs, on order from Mavnon, begin debating between themselves. There seems to be few Aag in their nations, likely due to to extreme tension between Mavnon followers and the Aag nation as a whole. The New Kingdom seems to have no notable scholars, at least non interested in attending.

((...Who is the Spirit of Conflict again? I can't seem to find one being created  :-\.))

A New Obelisk is made near the Aag capital! Of course, the Aag almost entirely take the side of Lithus/Luthus, with no open Mavnon worshipers anywhere near due to their worship being banned. (Lithus/Luthus -1E)

Mavnon prepares to spar! Her opponent seems to have withdrawn his offer.

Space Weaver Frontiersman: As you wish (Stellarion -2E)
He proceeds to do as ordered, finding the Founders of the two Clans. Most of the existing Weavers choose a clan to join, many seeming to prefer their lives in towers. The numbers end up with about 3/4 joining the Clan of Harmony, with the remaining 1/4 joining the Clan of Riddling Rooms. The SWF continues to guide them both, moving between the two clans relatively equally.

Space Weaver Clothier: I will do so! This should help! (Stellarion -1C)
He proceeds to go down to the Nomads, offering them gifts and diplomatic trade. The relationships between the Nomads and Space Weavers seem to be steadily improving, especially with the RR clan.

Scared Space Weaver: O-ok. I-ill do my best! (Stellarion -3E)
The SSW proceeds to find out that the dream was, of course, a dream and that his silk would not purposefully strangle him in real life. He then teaches this to the others, teaching them how to discover the obviose.

Gai-gen uses Power to discover the God of Destruction's location! He manages to narrow it down to the New Kingdom's Palace, but is unable to locate anyone fitting the description of his Mortal body within. (Gai-gen -4P?)

Wolf Spider: What place has the most monsters? I wanna go there!
Shadow Kabold: Yay! This is the greatest thing ever! (Lauxal -2E)
Human Adventurer: Ill be counting on it!

The Obelisk watchers Mavnon talks too are just as confused as Stirk is. Many assume something has gone wrong with the Obelisk and have been praying for it to get fixed.

The Nomads begin searching for Nothing Cultists among their ranks! This quickly devolves into a near literal which hunt, with many suspects being put to the steak/acid with little to no evidence. Mostly the "no" part. Despite orders to try keeping them alive, the acid and fire seems to kill them the same as it would any other race, leading to many deaths. (Nilva -2P)

Laxual unblocked Nilva from talking to her followers!

Iliseth orders Humans loyal to her to leave their land, moving to Sapling territory! Most of the small Tribes move out immediately. There seems to be fewer coming from the Great Tribe, where the High Church is the majority religion, even followers of Iliseth are hesitant to leave. Most seem to make the trip without incident, though Fredrick angrily insisted on keeping all foreign militaries out of his territory and had the Great Tribe's military escort out any who wished to leave from his lands. Those who could not make the journey, including the elderly and young, people locked between hostile territory, and incarcerated criminals are teleported. (Iliseth -2P)

The CRD take over the land abandoned by the human Tribes, naming them Free Marches. The land begins producing livestock on a larger scale in these new areas, some of which are actually decent land for this purpose. Mathenos is given to the Immortal, and currently almost completely vacant of anyone to actually rule over. She begins using her resources to construct a main laboratory for weapon developments.

Lan Cao successfully gets a small amount of Dragoons to immigrate! Most of them are already Mavnon or High Church worshipers and their families. They seem less able to get any to part with their Dragons, which are typically unwilling to leave their lairs anyway.

A kill-on-sight order is issued by Patronius in The Great Tribe and new Auror land, which is followed gleefully. Fredrick doubles the guard in many areas, as well as ordering the Immigrant's Escorts to take down the Angel if he so much as crosses the border. Fredrick does seem happy to be rid of Heretical Iliseth worshipers and does nothing to stop them from leaving.

The Dwarves Iliseth resurrected seem to be long dead. Then resurrected. Now dead. Their souls locations are unknown.

Sankis designs a large Arc, saying one in each town should be able to save the population if the world does, in fact, flood again. He mentions that many towns still have anti-flood measures from the Great Rains.

Verruckt begins kidnapping finding orphans, training many as adventurers personally. The first group founds a group dedicated to training orphans as adventurers, largly mimicking the actions of their "founder" Verruckt.

Most mortals seem to be aware of the existence of the Orbs, and the benefits. Most with the desire and capabilities to become an Adventurer do so already.

Verruckt then orders the creation of a New Adventurer Guild. The current Guild seems most popular in High Church lands, which has so far made it unpopular in the Aag territories among others. The New Guild sets up in the lands lacking current effective guilds. They seem to copy the original Guild in many ways, building off of existing structure that several of them had already been a part of.

The Orcish Raidleaders are given Blessings, increasing many of their skills! Naturally, the raids improve in both frequency and quality. (Mavnon -2E)

Herema is born/raised/given immortality! His Preaching among the Loi'naaryt seem to, for the most part, fall on deaf ears. Part of the reason is them not taking him seriously, as a male. The majority of the problem seems to be that none of the Loi'naaryt consider their God 'dying' to be an issue, feeling that it is just part of the cycle. (Mavnon -3E)

The Technology of the CRDs seems to be Above Average, especially all things steel related. Their culture is completely distinct from any surrounding area.

The Nothing Worshiper device seems to fail completely, with the concept being deemed either impossible or absurdly expensive.

Mavnon then goes on to create board games, and spread them throughout the fragments! They seem popular, with no other unifying entertainment uniting the world. Tournaments begin to pop up, often with representatives from multiple nations coming together as they gain more popularity. (Mavnon-1E)

A new God, Vashna, awakens! As his first order of business, he creates a robotic Race and sends them down to the Fragments, leaving two Spheres in space. They begin exploiting the natural resources to create the Unnamed Robotic race. (Vashna -8E)

Mavnon attempts to tell the New King to stop the invasion! (Un)fortunately for him, the invasion had already been stopped. It is unknown if these events are related.

Another new God, Dgetga is born! His fist action is canceled is to help Mortals invent collaborative workshops! The idea appears spontaneously in many of the more scholory races, spreading through the fragments easily. He then proceeds to invent Clocks (and, naturally, the clockwork that goes with it!). This idea seems much less popular, currently few see use for such devices, especially as they use still-valuable metal. (Dgetga -3E)

Dgetga then attempts to spread "Urban Legends" about himself. Why they are contemporary legends in a per-industrial time is unexplained. Many ask a Human Obelisk watcher named Snopes if this new God, in fact, exists, which he confirms.. (Dgetga -3P)

Dgetga then gives 3E to the ever Greedy Iliseth. Why nobody warned the poor guy of Iliseth's Essence Grubbing is unexplained (Iliseth+3E)(Dgetga-3E)

Dgetga next attempts to unify all magic under a "Metamagic" system. Despite being willing to use all current essence, this attempt seems to fail badly. Nothing seems to change.

Dgetga, still working to make all the different systems run under the same power, attempts to make a thaumic field throughout reality. Again, nothing seems to happen, there is apparently no change in the many ambient energies of this reality. Fragment-bound mages do not seem capable of activating it for their usual spells. Perhaps trying to spread so little energy so thin is the problem? (Dgetga -1E)

Lithus/Luthus finally decides to ban the worship of Patronius and Utther! Fredrick is, naturally, angry over this fact. The Great Kingdom begins amassing troops and preparing for war, as many Patronius worshippers leave the Aag for the Great Tribe.

Another school is created, this time in dwarf territory! The Escuela del Estrambólico, a magical school with magic of its own, is created and filled with knowledgeable instructors. It seems to be popular with many races, the Dwarves not having alienated anyone too much, despite being created by a High-Church member. (Mavnon-2E)

Iliseth then adds 2000 humans to the population arriving in Sapling land! The humans arriving integrate with them, including sharing technology. She then gives a general power boost to her Leader angel, who is still preaching among the Exiles. (Iliseth -3E)

Huon is granted a potato! He proceeds to immediately beat it with a hammer, from morning to night, while screaming blasphemies into the air. Thus, mashed potatoes where invented! A tomato soon joins it. The clothier, assuming this was from the same source, continues bashing it the rest of the night, inventing tomato sauce! And Ketchup!

A massive pillow fort appears, courtesy of Aurosseu! This is then reinforced by Nilva, who dives in after him. Niether can be seen from outside. Lithus/Luthus begins glaring at the fort. (Aurosseu -5P)(Nilva-2P)

Several nations appear to be preparing for war! Notably, the Orcs, CRDwarves, and adventurers have been gathering together. Reports of preparing for an "Exam" against the New Kingdom can be found.

The portals connecting the Fragments seem to be down! It is reported that attempts to travel through the gates that had formally connected the Fragments simply teleport you several feet behind the gates now. Many are stranded. Many nations that spand multiple planets seem to have plans in place for this, especially Fredrick who had left detailed orders in the case this happened.

((By Fusil and Tykki, that tick was a complete nightmare  :'(. So...many...canceled...actions...I think I will start having PTSD flashbacks to it! Those expecting Income calcs probably don't know anything about me.))

((Aren't the only wildlife on the floating islands aliciaborn? And all of them are basically small fairycreatures?))

Nilva puts a stop to the witchhunting and removes the acid/frees the ones that survived. "What the Feth are you doing? Unless you have some bloody evidence, you don't just go "Nothing worshiper!" and melt them. Think!"

Nilva facepalms at the group of nomads that didn't properly utilize redundancies and got themselves killed.

[Skolld, God of Binding and Bone]

When he's done with the binding of the void king*, Skolld goes back to his wolf form, and goes to look for the Air Wolves, to see how they're doing.
Okay, definitely going to make them Air Eagles.

Create 8E worth of Humans to increase the size of the new Human City. As before, the wisest become priests and the strongest become templars.

"Really.  Wooden and glass gears are THINGS, people."
Spend 3P on manifestations to craft and demonstrate some stuff like pumps, waterwheels, mills (and the subsequent breads and all), if such things do not already exist.  In general, plant seeds of ideas that are a tech level further along whatever chains of tech we have.

"Hmh, broken portals."
>Dgetga:Investigate.  Expend up to 4P on this effort, and/or fixing the problem.  Also, look at the MPU while I'm at it, and correct the spelling of the Arks.  ((Ark=Boat, Arc=Part of a circle.))

Also, continue efforts to make a unified basis for magical works, with the ILUT pantheon bonus.  However, I'm not currently expending E on this.

Look for any followers I might have.  I mean, it's not that likely.  There is a glut of inventors about, and that Amulet kind of implies someone got there before me.

Spread "rumors" about non-exclusive worship of myself (that is, I really don't care if you worship someone else in addition to me, or if you worship someone else and me in addition to them.)  Heck, outright declare it if that would help more.

A stone Mermaid appears before the Gods, bowing as it greets itself.

"Greetings, Gods of this reality. I am Vepar, the Ritual Stone of Weapons. I was born from all the War preparations that have been going on, the use of the Stones has increased since the New Kingdom conflict started. I am sure that Agaliarept-that is, Agali- has mentioned my arrival. As I mentioned before, my specialty is Weaponry and Armor. I am capable of making and assisting with God-quality weapons, of a much higher quality for less than Agali was able to. Feel free to contact me with requests."
