That makes me think there should be a mod to let you put down sexy magazines to distract enemies like in Metal Gear.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

So, did you know that overwatch can trigger on a panicked soldier running? I found this out the hard way recently.

I have a very important question.
Your overwatch, or alien overwatch? (:P)
But... what would you expect from a movement-triggered action?

Your overwatch. Your soldiers will fire on friendlies during overwatch if said friendly is panicked and running. It's actually really annoying.

Yeah. I've actually had situations proceed in this order:

1. Psi enemy panics trooper.
2. Enemy goes on overwatch.
3. Panicked trooper does their run, gets OW'd.

Um, I'm at least 70% certain that's some sort of oversight. Because if not what the fuck

Maybe it's only if the panicked troop will commit friendly fire of their own in their turn, and the game treats it as a super brief mind-control?

Meh. I appreciate that complaint Rince Wind, but I think people would probably counter certain missions more then others, so they would end up seeing certain missions less.

Plus isn't that true to some level? I know that the stuff I had to seize to stop alien infiltration were "tissue samples" of some sort, and that made a certain sort of sense in my head.

Well, I would just like some more variety, I guess. And you could of course mix it up. Blow up the venom factory, kill the avatar project scientist and corrupt the armor data so they will use the wrong formula.

I'd also like some more propaganda missions. I'd love to blow up more statues. But there is only the one in Gatecrasher, right?
