What patching are you going to have to do? Brand new game.
You have to preload, then unpack+update took about 20 mins, then there's an additional day 1 patch that's like 290 mb.

Take it from someone who is playing now :P

Its gotta unpack and patch anyway, you could just let it run and be able to play it tomorrow. (this is probably not helpful advice however)

12minutes left of unpacking. Hnnnngggg. Hope this game will be as great as my instincts tell me. Haven't even succumbed to any hype, only seen one or two pictures.

How about everyone who wants to share a character send the file to the OP or myself, then one of us can collect everything into one single archive. Then post that file on the top post.

I was thinking about that too, but it's still in beta and not only do you have to be manually approved for it, all your submissions have to be manually approved as well.

Maybe it'll open to the public in a few days.
