DF doesn't mold players into its image - DF merely selects those who were always ready for DF.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

I hadn't even thought of that.  While that specific mission didn't exist at the time of the review (it wasn't added until Enemy Within), that could well be the reason.  The psi zombies aren't quite as...goopy as the chest-bursting Chryssalids.

Chryssalids are still in, though.

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

I think it might be because EU had some nasty burnt corpses ob terror mission maps (that you can't see very well because it's a TBS.)

The whole "alien exploding out of a person's body" thing might have single-handedly secured the M rating.  It happens pretty early into the experience and I think its meant to be pretty shocking when it happens, for people new to Xcom I mean.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

They might've also intentionally gone for a T.  I dunno how it is for games but movies are really pushed for PG13 nowadays to maximize audience, hence the popularity of "unrated" releases later on that include the stuff they cut out.  At The Mountains of Madness was cancelled over its rating.

I don't think so, the skulljack is already more brutal than anything in EU.
Chryssalid facehugging and chestbursting say hi.

Now they make cocoons instead of zombies.

EDIT: Oh god the sectopods have bladestorm.

Holy, that's a pretty impressive thing to do.  Giving the most well known mod makers of your previous game access to it so that they can prep day one launch mods.

Can't wait to see what sorta torturous stuff they can throw at us this time hah.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Though I don't work at this time of the year so i'm not sure if that counts.   24hour Xcom2 marathon though unless we get yet another snow storm.
