And hey, at least it's only 3 DLC packs, opposed to EA's, what, like several 100 expansions for the Sims and Battlefield and such?
They only make about nine expansions for Sims games. Course, thats not counting stuff packs.

This is what we call exaggeration :D (It actually is about 100, if you count all of the *EXTREMELY* overpriced DLC in the Sims Store)

I also said it like that because f*ck EA's money-grubbing employees! CEOs!

Yeah...  EA employees, famous for being greedy money-grubbers  ::)
DLC aside, one of the worst things about EA has been how they treat their developers.  Complaining about the CEOs I understand, but not the employees.

Because seriously man, they ruined what, like 3 or 4 of my favorite childhood games!

The Sims, Simcity, and Battlefront I can name off the top of my head! Though they have ruined many, many more...

Requiescat in pace, childhood :/

I didn't mean the people making the games themselves, they got it bad, not being able to develop actual good games, because of the pressure of releasing new games year-round most of the time.

I mean't the publisher EA, and the CEOs of EA.

I kinda figured, just thought it was worth clarifying.
And yeah... I miss Bullfrog.  Though who could have guessed that Peter Molyneux would actually do *worse* with funding?  I love some of his ideas, but man.  I suspect it was his code monkeys who had the spark, and I don't think most of them stayed on with EA.

He does seem more like the idea man, than the realistic goals man, and also that ego, what with the whole "Fable 2 is going to be the best RPG ever made" when, as it turns out, Fable 2 was barely an RPG, or an anything really.

And the promising of features that were never going to be in the game to begin with...

And the saying that GTA V's sales success was "Unimpressive" ...

You see where I'm going with this?

You see where I'm going with this?
That Peter is comparing our puny human computer games to the vastly superior games that the Ethereals have been perfecting for thousands of years and expects the faintest hints of their grandeur to be successful in our puny human markets?

EXACTLY! 10/10 would ethereal video game conspiracy again.

Now that that's over with, I was not entirely expecting that answer. But no, I'm saying that he's a bit of an egotistical dick, that's all really.

Wow I want to watch those...  But I don't want to sully the beautiful official "gameplay" video with harsh reality.  Still gives me chills, mm.

Anyone else already have their soldiers planned out? I got two different squads I'm planning to field. From what I've seen so far it might be worth having different people for different tasks.
Metal Gear Squad, for missions that have to be completed as fast as possible. High mobility, high damage. Go in, blow apart the target, get to the extraction zone. Only engage as neccessary.
Big Boss as the Ranger. His job to complete the objective, or kill any dangerous targets that preventing the rest of the squad from moving.
Otacon as the Medic/Hacker. His job is to get to any objectives that are out of range, keep any panicked units moving, and disable robotic enemies.
(Volgin? Fortune? Don't know who) as the demolition expert.Would open up a path to the objective, or just lay waste to a group of enemies.
Raiden as the blademaster. Job would be to kill as many units as possible.
Revolver Ocelot as the Gunslinger. Quickly kill any wounded units left over from the demolition expert or blademaster.
Psycho Mantis as the Psi-Operative. Job would be to neutralize any high health enemies that the rest of the team can't kill.

Gaunt's Ghost squad, for longer missions, or missions where I just have to kill everything.
Laskin as the Sniper. Just plain out kill stuff at the end of the turn.
Try Again Bragg as the Gunner. Deal damage to groups of enemies, keep enemies suppressed.
Ana as the Medic. Keep the squad alive since they will be sent on long missions with lots of attrition.
Gaunt as a blademaster. Lead the squad and kill shit.
Mkoll or Mkvenner as the scout/blademaster. Scout ahead to make sure I don't run into any pods, and kill high value targets.
Rawne as the demolition expert. Blow apart concentrations of enemies.
And no fucking psi operatives because that's heresy.

You've got it all backwards! The obvious only way to play this is to make everyone a psionic sniper, then pretend that you're an elite team of Starcraft Ghosts (leveling psi-shadow/concealment/whatever it's called is required). :P
