You can combine the two.
Channel your inner XCOM rookie and you can achieve everything!

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

The aliens get new technologies while xcom gets new rookies?

That's XCOM, baby!

I know I'm late, but I just wanted to say I don't think I've ever heard anyone call Firaxis "Dank" before.

I'm glad the DLC shitposting is thinning out so we can get back to snektit shitposting.

Where is the Sectopod? Is it behind the repair drone? I like the handle sticking out of the repair drone's back, it should be fun seeing the sectopods triple-wielding these things...

That is oddly daw. I'm gonna feel super bad when I order them all to ambush a lone alien and it turns into a brutal kung fu movie.

I don't care to endorse buying DLC at all.

I do care about pre-ordering it though, as it does look awesome from the preview let's plays I've seen.

But man, as long as the game is fun, I would be happy to give them more money for even more stuff. And to be honest, the game is coming with mod tools day one, in which they said you can mod almost everything including enemy types, soldier classes, and all sorts of awesome shit. Mod tools usually sell me on just about anything, as long as they're extensive mod tools.

Just wanted to throw this out there.

I'm fine with paying for DLC, if the game is fun. After all, Games cost $50 way back in 1990, and that's $111 now. Paying half for what I used to, value-wise, to get more than half the game really doesn't bother me.

And hey, at least it's only 3 DLC packs, opposed to EA's, what, like several 100 expansions for the Sims and Battlefield and such?
