The whole snakeboobs thing could be explained by a weird bone structure or musculature. It's an alien after all. Really I think people are too fixated on something that is ultimately not important.

I for one look forward to having a nuanced discussion with our alien overlords regarding our cultural differences.  I anticipate being able to express my viewpoints with a variety of arguments, including 7.62x51, 40x46mm, and hot plasma.

Look, they obviously did this because the aliens had a large surplus of boob plate armor, probably from a previous xray race with long necks, like giraffe-women or whatever, so they added the breasts to their vipers so they would fit.

If by human tendency, you mean the artists', I agree.
I guess it's just me who sees sexual innuendo and suggestive imagery in otherwise innocent settings. Sorry.

Anyway I'm just playing devil's advocate, that snakechick was definitely designed to be sexy.

Simple... Two drunk designers said "What would a snake with tits look like" and thus it was made but the deadline was up, lucklly the person who was finallizing the designs has an uncomfortable obsession with snakes and thus the alien was accepted.
