Dual Pistols/Dual Machetes when.

WTF does this 'when' business even mean?  porn when?  ar3 when?

I looked up halflife trivia to find out what an ar3 is, and I get what dual pistols and machetes are, but what is this porn thing I keep hearing about?

And why do people keep saying "When"?  I cant even find it in Urban Dictionary, beyond the literal meaning of the word.
...
._. I was literally just saying 'when will we get dual pistols/machetes, silly.

It's a generally well-respected journal among its somewhat niche audience. You should go try and check it out of the library some time.

I have taken your advice sir, and I must say that the octagenarian library attendant was both helpful and eludicating with regards to said journal.

Also more racist.
Some people might argue that it's difficult to discuss history in any capacity without being racist and being responded to by racists, since we're all racists.

But yes, racism!

I think it's possible to discuss historical attitudes about race/creed/national origin without injecting personal bias, but some people do have trouble with that.

It's really not. It's possible to discuss racism without being racist. But you're still coming into the discussion with baggage, both intellectual and emotional (otherwise you'd be discussing something that interests you instead.) Even if your belief on the subject is "All races are the same on the inside, all creeds eventually boil down to common sense", that's still a bias.

Of course, just like in every xcom remake thing I've played recently, at least one soldier will be customized with a proper serbjan name and a military beret for proper spess kebab removal.

Even if they have breasts.

If only we'd get a modified ak 47 now :v

I said I think it's possible to have a discussion without injecting your bias. Everyone has beliefs which bias them towards one opinion or another, but if you are aware of this bias and keep an open mind it is possible to have a discussion about things rationally without being insulting or overly opinionated. Just because you have bias doesn't mean you can't be aware of it or keep it from affecting the course of the discussion. It just takes a degree of self-awareness and restraint.

I don't think it is.  Bias is inherent to language and discussion.  If we want to really drill down into it, discussing something implies a value judgment on what is and isn't worth discussing.

And of course this conversation has everything to do with a game in which you are an underground resistance fighting against literal alien opressors.

I suddenly wish for a mod that adds the inevitable arguments about post-successful-uprising society and how it'll be structured. Bonus points for involving citations of famous political philosophers.  :D
