The modding scene for this game. It is gonna explode.
Didn't we say that when Nucom 1 was supposed to work with mods somehow? Or at least predictions for how long until TFTD mod.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

So, assuming we do get mods (and I sure hope we do) here is the list mentioned in the thread:
  • Fallout
  • Warhammer 40k
  • Metal Gear
  • Stargate
  • Half-Life
  • Halo
  • Star Wars
  • PAYDAY
  • EXALT

Star Wars, Halo, EXALT (Playing as EXALT would be cool and you know it.), PAYDAY might work...So many possibilities.

I think you left out Star Wars. Maybe I just wanted to mention it, but it should definitely be there. Battlefront-style class system and *bam*, instant compatibility for conversion. Psi = Force.

*Ninja'd, but the idea remains*

...Galactic Civil War would work best with XCOM 2's setting.
B-because that was when the empire and the rebels were around. So. Yeah. :D

As crossovers go, all I can think about is Pokémon. It needs to happen.

Obligatory WH40K mod.
SUFFER NOT THE XENOS TO LIVE

PRAISE HIS NAME AND LET THE EMPEROR'S LIGHT SHINE UPON YOU
You won't even need a mod for that, if the X-ISIS meme plays out strong enough.

The witcher.
You cna use swords so why not? Especially considering that in Witcher 2 you could see a souple of crossbowmen doing a SWAT style door breach.

Would be hilarious if your special forces division was fighting off wild hunt abductions and saving civilians from terror atacks in Vyzima.
And then you unlock genemods witcher mutagens!

And signs!
A portable flamethrower on all your mutated troopers!

Maybe a small mod to edit in the emperor over someone suitably important, though?
