For those who liked the "Watch the Skies" megagame - the SU&SD guys participated in another game of "Watch the Skies".

I would love to take part in something like this. Seems like just my kind of thing. Gotta read up if there's anything similar organized here.
A local group is organizing one of these in my city! I'm signed up to receive a notification when sign ups are open, I'm so stoked.

We are doomed if the first alien species we meet is hostile and gets access to our internet.

Quote from: Our Unwelcomed Alien Overlords
Alien Advisor: My liege, we have found the key to completely disable the humans and throw them into insanity and confusion!

Alien Overlord: Alas! Tell me, servant.

Alient Advisor: SNAKE. BOOBS.

Alient Overlord: EGADS! Fire up the gene labs!

To be fair, they only need to put boobs on any other creature that don't have boobs to begin with.

What? No, you can just add more boobs.

Eh... We can probably safely add a "porn mod" to the list of upcoming mods. If you really can mod animations and textures, it'll be made. The only question is, what will the name be?
"Close Encounters of the Triple X Kind"?

Well, let's say you're going away from Earth on huge spaceship and suddenly shit goes wrong and you have Super Mutants. Social Experiments prepared them for this.

Guys, the engineer says AT THE VERY BEGINNING of XCOM "From what I have seen, if the aliens were intent on conquering Earth there's not much we could do to stop them. They must have something else in mind."

Do we really believe they only brought ONE ship? Really? Who plans an invasion including a single starship? The whole first game was the aliens putting humanity to a test, one which we have passed. XCOM2 is the direct result of humanity passing the test. Why would they bother building a society on Earth if we had failed? They'd just harvest what they could and move on, glassing the planet.

Because XCOM EU is apparently not a thing in XCOM 2. Unless IGN pulled something out of their ass or misunderstood Solomon, humans lost the war before psionics, lasers, anything. They just got annihilated before the Temple Ship was even a thing to XCOM. Dunno why the ethereals are acting like this to humans instead of treating them like how they treated sectoids and mutons.

They are enjoying the sight of humans reacting to snake tits.

Or... you know, they simply realised that we DO have psionic potential, so they are taking it slow.
Or... to not risk XCOM1 happening, they're trying to take it slow.
Or... they are first exploring the best way to turn humans into genetically modified soldiers.
Or... Dr. Vahlen asked them very nicely to "Take it slow".
Or... *PLOT REASONS*
Or... *FOR THERE TO BE PLOT REASONS*
