Voice was only an illusion, but that particular illusion power causes full-sensory illusion, so instead of feeling warmth he felt cold.
Series of bad rolls, that makes bad stuff happen.
What caiman? Hawk132 had a partridge. He survived for same reason why igloos are warm instead of cold. Nordic forest birds use that trick all the time.

Admittedly, the whole hanging on thing was purely because him forfeiting would cause me to lose the bet. In response to the rest: is there a rule against it (I suspect there will be one soon)?

"Don't reveal stuff in other player's spoilers" is the type of rule that doesn't need to be written.

True. While there is no written rule against it, it kinda defeats the purpose of asking contestants to refrain from looking at their opponent's actions and the resolutions of them. I mean, should we all pick our favorites and tell them "he's in the room south o you! He's climbing the wall! He's in the corpse! He's the turkey! It's an illusion, ignore it!"

Seems pretty unsporting, especially when you have a bet riding on the outcome.
