Djinn gets the hell out of dodge for now.

One of the rocs retreats (and possibly grabs the djinn with it), while the other one imitates a nuclear missile by flying up very high into the air and diving at the highest speed possible, aiming to hit the ground somewhere near the giant's feet. Hopefully it'll be enough to trigger an explosion.

((Retcon time. Demons didn't cough at black liquid on last turn. I forgot they are immune to diseases. Not that it really matters at this point.))

Looks like the storm will be there on next turn. Wind is getting stronger and temperature dropping.

You shuffle illusions around, adding more to south and removing from east.

Fireman runs to south fast, leaving trail of burning grass behind. Demons keep killing each other just like planned. Except the flying one, that one just circles above. The roc notheast of you flies up, high above, so high that your aura reading cannot detect it anymore. Which means it flied very high.

Then it comes down like a falling stone. Your reaction by time you realize what it is doing.

Djinn retreats hastily, while demons keep killing each other and one manages to bite on leg of your roc. While it certainly has very impressive biting power, enough to deform steel, it cannot do any real damage. As such it is kinda prevents you from escaping fast.

The second roc, the one who fell through the god and landed near shore, flies up high above the ground, above dome of floating video cameras, until you can no longer even see the god. But from up here you can see how close the storm is. It will strike soon.

Health monitor is still screaming about rapidly progressing disease that is starting to cause rapid cell death. You can only hope your fleshy parts last long enough to complete the kamikaze strike. You stop ascending, pull your wings tightly against your body and experience short moment of zero G before gravity calls you back down. Then it is just matter of careful aiming.

You descend rapidly in nearly vertical angle. Not too long before impact your left wing starts to give up, making it harder to steer correctly. Nonetheless you hit the ground just five meters away from the god. Necks break, steel screams and deforms, control rods in your internal nuclear reactor are pushed out of core, letting neutrons flow faster and faster until uranium goes critical.

Boom. You win!

Toaster vs NAV!

Creeper gonna creep. Until suddenly tip of your tail is cut off and rock around you is being carved away by numerous lasers. You stop on your track, tying to figure out where it came.

Out from near northern side of the ruined building comes a black wave. Wherever it touches solid matter a black chasm opens and countless eight fingered black arms burst forth, grasping the ground around and tearing tracks into stone. The wave hits you at mid waist before you can even react. Chasm opens and arms dig their talons deep into your body, tearing you into pieces before pulling your remains into the chasm. In there awaits The Other with glowing red eyes and open maw, ready to feast on your body.

That's creepy. But you creep around a bit until you see him creeping in ceiling, completely oblivious to your presence.

You prepare the spell and look at Toaster with as many eyes as possible and close rest. You wouldn't want to shoot yourself, right? The thing about eye lasers is that it blocks your vision so you can't exactly see your target. So you pretty much miss him, only cutting piece off of his tail.

Zentol slash is go! You swing your fore leg at Toaster as the book instructed. A black crescent blade is emitted from tip of your arm as you swing it, flying forwards fast and growing larger as it goes. Wherever it touches solid matter a black chasm opens and countless eight fingered black arms burst forth, grasping the ground around and tearing tracks into stone.

The beam hits Toaster exactly in middle of his body. The black chasm opens and arms dig their talons deep into his body, tearing him into pieces before pulling his remains into the chasm. The chasm closes, leaving only torn ground behind, and a tattoo in your body. The tattoo has eight eyes with three of the open.

For the record, I had a partridge, a tadpole, and a sagebrush.  Very glad it came as close as it did.

Only thing is, can you please not make telling remarks in labelling your spoiler tags?  I may have decided to do something that might have saved myself, but couldn't, because your spoiler tag would have tipped me off.

Well, I just had to do it for some reason. Probably because I decided that I needed a mildly amusing spoiler tag for an action like that and I didn't have any other ideas.

Please don't do it in the future.  If I'd changed my action to run for the water, the odds of survival would have been pretty good, either from waiting you out, or further actions from the god, (which due to being intangable), would have survived for certain.

Man, Hawk has the edge on those powerful cards, but it all depends on what is drawn. NAV certainly has a strong chance. I'd say 60/40 in favor of Hawk, pre-draw.

If Hawk takes djinn and duplication, NAV's nova strategy is much less likely to work; duplication allows Hawk to not instantly die when NAV teleports onto him and the djinn will cause damage to NAV when absorbed if it is made out of a harmful element. Demon summoning will also greatly help Hawk, due to NAV's position in the contest. The demons and the lower god might fight, however, so Hawk will probably have to chose only one of them. I recommend demons. Illusions can also help reveal NAV and prevent him from instantly absorbing Hawk. Also, NAV's amorphous body might freeze, while Hawk will be mostly unaffected. Now that I've thought about it, I will bet on Hawk."
