Ozarck vs NAV!

After running a while the armor sticks its chains into the ground, stopping you by force.

"Don't run from fight, or I'll drag you into one!" it whispers.

Honestly speaking it is really stupid, but I see what you are trying. Who knows, maybe you will succeed. However most likely you'll die.

You pluck single shard off, lift your upped body with one hand and throw the shard into ground below you chest. With flash of light another crystal pillar erupts beneath you. Luckily for you it is already at its final diameter and not sharp, otherwise you would have impaled yourself.
The pillar grows to its maximum length of 10 meters in one second, which is basically equivalent of having a car colliding with you at speed of 36 km/h, which has small change of being instantly fatal. Of course this doesn't kill you, it simply shatters few ribs and ruptures some internal organs as the pillar drives your chest in.

A second later it stops growing as abruptly as it started, however you keep your kinetic energy and go flying upwards. The burn wound in your back and new internal wounds distract you so badly that by time gravity starts calling you back you still don't know fully comprehend what's happening. You fall back into the ground and by some miracle only break your arm. And when you finally gather your thoughts enough you see you fell back inside the electric prison, right next to the shocking line. You feel tingling in back of your neck.

The tribesmen are having a heated debate, mainly between the chief and village shaman.

"dude. stupid armor, I'm circling around for advantage. I don't think lightning would do you much good, you know. But fine, let's get around to the southwest size of the village and go n there, killing from the dark, mkay? And we need to come at him from a direction he doesn't see us until we're close enough to get inside his throw." Proceed to southwest edge of village, jump the fence, enter hut and slaughter what's inside. If possible, rinse and repeat.

I was wondering if having a creature that I can see read writing I wrote would qualify as 'communicates'.  Anyway, lets take advantage of the momentary improvement in sight range by proceeding out of the room and east, crossing the river.  If I am attacked by a creature I can't detect, use the stun ability.

Well, sit tight and inspire as much bravery and bloodlust Courage and cooperation in the tribes leaders as I can while trying to treat my wounds. Hopefully they can manage to kill Ozark. Focus on the upcoming weather to distract myself from the pain.

Hmm. If you are watching it while it reads your message, then it would count as communication.

Over the bridge is another house, this one is still intact, and you barely see outline of another bridge further in east. You hear sound of water from every direction now. If there's anything else moving in the area, it is easily covered by roaring of rapids.

You don't see anything, but you sense as a magnetic object travels from probable water boiler in west over unseen bridge to another probable water boiler. Right on opposite side of the building between the bridges!

The armor accepts the plan and lets you go. The south western edge of the village is very close to the battlefield boundary so you make preparations to go over the wall a bit earlier. The wall is around three meters tall, nothing you can easily jump over, but your armor helpfully assists you by striking its chains through it and pulling you upwards and over.

The huts are much simpler, walls made of some dried long grass or something equally pointless material, so you simply run through it. Unfortunately the hut is empty of living.

Voices of living sounds to come mostly from the gate or center of the village.

There's very little you can do in terms of first air. Perhaps tearing strips out of your robe to tie splints, but that's hella painful and hard to do when you have one broken arm, few broken ribs and partially paralyzed. Not to mention the internal bleeding. And you need splints as well.

Leaders seem to quickly reach a conclusion after your mind prodding. The chief barks orders and the men split in three groups. Group of ten men position themselves outside of your prison while keeping respectable distance. Another group of ten runs into darkening night following Ozarck's tracks in melting snow and last group of ten goes directly south.

The shaman walks closer to you, but stops a bit before charred corpses. He kneels, fully prostrating himself, and speaks. Of course you don't understand a word he says, but you gather apologetic sensation from his mind.

Weather? I forgot what I promised earlier, but its turning better anyway. Night will remain as cold as it is currently (4°C), but come the morning it rises quickly.

Go a little further north, if I can see it and it looks like an enemy, put a million metal bits through its body at high speed. (Really I want to do that as a reaction to seeing anything enemy-like from this point on.)

Pass quietly through the silent huts and peer out toward the center of the village, remaining hidden as I do so. Before I do, ask quietly "Can you hide me, armor? Have you some kind of illusion ability, or other ability than what you showed, me already?"

Any sign of legs getting less paralyzed? Try wiggling my toes.

Pluck 3 crystals for personal defense, then toss necklace to the shaman. Pretty sure he knows how it works, but mime throwing the crystals, point to the towers, point to the charred corpses. Idea is I want him to set traps. Reinforce this idea with mind magic.

ATHATH vs Generally me!

The bear slowly strolls towards the hill in the forest, and occasionally stops to sniffing the air. By edge of the hill it stands up on its back legs and starts climbing up a tree.

The robot continues flying west and soon it flies through the forcefield marking boundary of your battlefield. You cannot pass through it. The mechacentaur doesn't show any signs of slowing down.

Rest of your bodies continue the search. After spending a good while doing aerial survey you realize there's actually large number of birds in the forest. Crows, magpies, owl, cuckoo, capercaillie, woodpeckers... Considering your opponent has an ability to disguise himself as basically almost anything, any of these birds could be him. In theory it is possible that he got smashed by meteors, but the game haven't ended yet, so it is quite unlikely.

"What do you take me for? I'm a god damned armor! I can't even initiate a fucking combat! I can strangle you, but then I can't see the fight you promised..." it chimes into your ear with arrogant tone, hovering its chains around your throat.

You slip past few quiet huts until you reach the center. There's a much larger and sturdier hut and you can see fire flickering there. Number of people sounds to be inside, mostly females or children.

In last moments before dakness comes in full power you see now four crystal pillars at the gate, more flashes of lights and crystal pillars erupting outside the gate.

Some old woman brings out a torch from the building in center.

Not slightest. Your legs are as numb as ever and toes don't move.

The shaman lifts the neclace with great reverence, observes your mime show, nods, bows again and proceeds out into darkness. Now that it is the shaman who is throwing crystals you notice great increase in amount of light produced by each flash. It is enough to blind you for few moments if you make mistake of staring it.

When he comes back there's only seven crystals left in the neclace.

Someone deeper in the village brings out a torch.

Enter the house.  If that isn't possible, circle behind it, then turn around to catch anything following me.  If the house can be entered, hide in a corner and watch the door.  As always, use the stun power if I'm attacked by something I cannot detect.

"He's building some kinda light barrier force field thingy over there. Hostages might help. Let's get some." Run into the building, grabbing the old woman as we go, along with her torch. Check for threats, and eliminate them - spellcasters and priests first, warriors next. take the women and children hostage.
