Kaldach, holding one such weapon ready to apply to someone's face, sat uncomfortably in a barrel near the back of the wagon.
: "..." Goddamn. I'd rather stab this idiot than take another minute of this cramped thing.

Julia sighed with relief as the guard bought her very poorly executed lie. That relief was very short lived, however, when she remembered what they'd put in the back of the wagon to try and bolster their trade supplies and where they were going.

"Oh double shit," she cursed aloud, not even hiding it.

Gods, she'd been so stupid to not catch it earlier. Well, there was nothing to be done about it now; they were as good as busted the second the guard looked in the back and saw weapons. The least she could do was knock out the guard so they wouldn't have to deal with him. In what surely looked like a bout of insanity to the rest of the group she leapt off her Pegasus, charged the guard -knocking the both of them to the ground- and punched him hard in the face.

"We fucked up," she said calmly, as if it explained her actions completely, as she got back on her mount. "Taft, get everyone out of their barrels, we're fighting."

"Oh thank goodness." Kaltsar said, his voice oozing sarcasm as he brought up his weapon. "And here I was worried that this would go to plan!"

[SeriousConcentrate]

Taft threw aside the disguise, drawing his bow in the same motion.

"Damn it, Julia, they aren't sealed in! They can get themselves out! Ugh, you blew it from top to bottom! What was with the whole 'that's what she tells us to call her' thing?"

[Sirus]

: "Who in the nine hells thought that hiding people in barrels was a good idea?! Oh, I'm done with this." Keyleth drew her lance as Arrna reared up.

[F.O.E.]

"It was more the fact we had weapons to try and bolster our fake goods. Can't have weapons to sell unless you're a licensed merchant and you certainly aren't one. That's where we fucked up."

"And I forgot you were the one driving the wagon! Sorry!"
