Edgar shrugged and talked to Korhal.

: Korhal, right? Do you mind watching over us in case the new armor isn't as solid as it looks?

Then he turned to Kaltsar again and made sure there was enough space for a test. As he assumed an attacking stance he warned Kaltsar.

: Ready?

[Haspen]

"If you wish. Qhorin does not approve, but I agree."

[Blade Master Model 42]

Kaltsar took up his fighting stance, raising both shield and axe. He frowned, then brought his stance wider and lower. The armored man nodded. "Whenever you're ready Edgar."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Get 'im good!"
"But not so good he pegs it."

Keeping his eyes on Edgar,  Kaltsar asked, "Shilleka, which of us are you rooting for?"

"Da winner."

[Solymr]

: I think she wants something unusual or stupid to happen.

Edgar continued on with the attack, but the lance bounced against Kaltsar's chestplate.

: Heh. Not even a scratch. It's not like this toothpick helped though.

[Haspen]

"Stupid is already happening so that can't be it."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Dere's no point iffn it ain't int'restin'."
"...but dat ain't it."
" Dere should be least blood or summin'. Long as yer don't die, it's fine."

"If you want blood I could cut you."

Taft's offer wasn't entirely sincere.

Shilleka bobbed in the air slightly as she shook her head and grinned.

"Nah. Iffn I want dat I'll nick Kaldy's sword again."

"Fine, spoil MY fun."

One got the sense Taft was trying to joke around.

Edgar stared at his weaponfor a moment before putting it away.

: I doubt he'll let you even get near it.

He noticed Julia had a new weapon though.

: Julia, where did you get that thing? It's almost as big as you.

Shilleka grinned again and gave the disheartened Taft a friendly punch to the shoulder.
"Didn' realise yer were into dat, Taff, but iffn I'm ever in der mood I'll let yer know." She stuck her tongue out at him playfully, showing she'd been joking throughout, and floated back a bit.

"'E's gotta sleep sometime, Edgar."

[F.O.E.]

"I got it from the blacksmith's, same place Taft got his bow." She pointed at the building the group had practically assembled in front of.

"And, yeah, it's big and powerful!"
