Kaldach, emerging from the inn with half a loaf of rye bread in hand, grumbled.
: "What's with all the noise?"
One moment later, spotting Kaltsar in his armor, he took a large bite out of the loaf.
: "Rh. Tht's whry."
Turning to Taft and Alaria (if she was around), he chewed through the bread and spoke more clearly.
: "So, did we have a plan here or were we just going to wing it all the way to Oldrdyn?"

Taft had just joined the group right before Kaldach did.

"Beats me. We were planning on pulling a fast one on the guards, but she said she'd sleep on it. So we'll probably talk about it soon."

Taft adjusted his new equipment and hefted his bow.

"I noticed none of us were packing, so I grabbed this. If we're lucky it won't be needed."

"Therefore I shall remain silent on the topic, too." He then turned toward Julia.

"Gepsy's your mount, am I correct?"

"Yeah, it's sort for Gespenst."

She turned towards the new arrivals.

"What's this about tricking some guards?"

"Nothing to it. We get a wagon, we get somebody to be a 'merchant', and the rest of us get smuggled over the border. Well, you and Armoretta might have to be guards because of your animals, but that's the gist as far as I know."

[F.O.E.]

"Mmm, probably. Gespy doesn't let other people on him if I'm not there."

"I ought ter get annoder spell book. Der way I use magic 'as a... well, dey don't seem to last dat long."

Angus slowly steps down the stairs. Hugging the railing.

"Them beds must have had stones for pillows. Well that tis one way to wake up in the morning.

Skinny malinky longlegs! And the rest of the gang. Of course our chosen leader Alaria is laying out the plans Aye see. Aye'll have to get of grub before we get move'n. OOYEE that's right! Aye need to get a tome before we let sail."

Angus waves to the lassie picking up some dish off the table.

: "...Fair 'nuff. I'll just keep my sword arm ready in case we blow it. Last I remember you lot had sneaking as your job, not bluffing."
Kaldach buys a Vulnerary

Keyleth appeared as if by magic.

: "Considering that "your lot" doesn't seem to be that great at sneaking, maybe it's time for a career change?"

"One person messes up once and suddenly the entire group's incompetent," Julia mumbled to herself.

"Career change to what? Merchants? Merchant bodyguards?"

Julia buys an iron polearm. #bad decisions were made

: "No, I mean...haven't you people ever tried to bluff your way past a problem rather than sneak or fight? If not, this is as good a time as any to start."

"Of course we've bluffed before, used to do it more when there were less of us and fighting wasn't really an option if we got caught."

Edgar appeared out of nowhere, besides Shilleka.

: I'm not much of a sneak person and it shows. I could do with bluffing though.

Then he noticed Katlsar wearing his new armor.

: Kaltsar, that armor doesn't look half bad after all. Mind if I try it?
