: "I thought you said that your people weren't perverts," Keyleth accused sourly. Still, she sighed and straightened her shoulders. "Let's go. You can go first."

Shilleka reached up to drape an companionable arm around Kayleth's shoulders.

"'lax. Ain't like you got summin' to 'ide."

"Yeah, but it doesn't matter what I say if you don't take my word for it," Julia countered. She shrugged. "Sure, I don't care either way."

"Oh, are you coming too Shilleka?"

"Really, they didn't have anything else? Because all I did was strip their armor. Trying to get myself a proper set. Or close too, anyhow." Kaltsar briefly examined a damaged pauldron, made a disgusted noise, and dropped it in a growing pile that could be assumed to be duds.

"Sure. Always did me best t'inking in der bath."

Having nothing to do, Edgar wandered about until he found the blacksmith. Kaltsar was still working on his recycled armor.

: How's that armor coming?

"Slowly. But I've found a breastplate that mostly fits at least." Kaltsar was currently in the process of inspecting a set of greaves. "So we'll see whether or not I make a complete set. I'm optimistic though."

[Solymr]

: All by yourself? Hell, you'll take all night to cobble up something decent. Let me give you a hand at least.

Kaltsar shrugged and experimented with strapping the greaves into place, apparently satisfied with the sizing of the pieces. "If you want to, I won't say no. But don't feel obligated."

: Not like I have anything better to do.

Edgar helped search the pile of junk, only stopping for an instant when he pulled out a codpiece. He lifted an eyebrow and threw it away.

"Now why would you throw that away? That protects a vital area that does." Kaltsar removed the greaves again, setting them with the breastplate he'd chosen.

Taft returned from the bath and sat down to eat a bowl of stew. As far as he could tell it was just him; it seemed the rest of the group had scattered the second he left. He shrugged.

"More for me, then."
