Julia briefly considered throwing the cursed sword into the river just to be rid of it as soon as possible; if Kaldach wanted it that badly he could go swimming for it. In the end she didn't though, mainly because she expected he would actually do that and there were still more bandits on the way.

"If your willing to take that risk you can have it. Just... keep it away from me."

A7, trade Devil Sword to Kaldach then canto to D8.

On touching the Devil's Sword, Kaldach's eyes seemed to flash a bright red briefly before reverting back to normal.
