A few drops of blood from Taft's finger dripped from her mouth as she grinned and looked at Kaltsar.

The group managed to safely make their way to the throne room but upon arriving, they found the doors slightly ajar. Frowning, Alaria reached towards her tome.

"Lets proceed but with caution..."

As the group slipped through the doors, they found a scene unfolding that was unexpected. The throne was occupied but surrounded by masked men. Closer to the group, there was a lone female facing the blades of several more masked men. One of them glanced down at the group and called out,

"Oi, we got a few more to take out. You four focus on the king and the rest of us will take care of these guys. Stop runnin away girl. Your time is up just like those newbies are gonna learn soon!"
