What languages does your character know?

I've only nailed down Strix, and all I'm getting from the site is that I need Linguistics ranks to learn new languages, which I don't have.

What's your Int modifier? For every +1 you have, you learn a new language.

Score is 10, mod is 0. I'll post the sheet once I've eventually gotten all her items, etc. down so this is easier.

What faction are you in Bowtie? If it's the warriors, or destroyers I could feasibly pick up strix as another language my slayer knows (half elf so slightly less filthy ) and just translate for you.  Role-playing wise it would be an interesting challange and also gives us a reason to be working together in the party.  Otherwise you can still put a rank into a skill that is not a class skill to say (learn linguistics and thus common)

Looks like I'm in, then. What was our composition looking like? I think it was something like Barbarian/Witch/Slayer/Ranger, and andrea was undecided? I had an idea for a close combat Sorcerer kicking around in my head, but I could draft up a Cleric of some description as well.

honestly... healing is over-rated as we have a slayer and a ranger.  We can always retreat and use healing skill mundanely if we need to.  I'd suggest with going with what you want as opposed to what you think we might need.


as for connecting backstories: I am definitely interested, what I had previously was just a place holder really... let me know what you were looking at for backgrounds and I'll give my own ideas   It could be as simple as, two outsiders in the city of Stetera who found they had a similar skillset and became blades for hire together.

Technically yes... There is nothing stopping you from not having one... or revoking it.

But the what "The Warriors" is, mostly means what god has given you their mark of protection. It doesn't mean you worship a deity at all.

Even the rebels usually have this mark because not having it makes things difficult.

...Man, Bloodrager looks interesting as well. To Sorcerer/Fighter for more spellcasting ability, or to try out those sweet rage features. Decisions...

Also completely incidentally, kilakan, my Sorcerer/Bloodrager is also a bounty hunter of sorts. Perhaps a connection to be made there?
