My votes are

1) Dragon killers
Lambert came from that faction and wants to prove himself worthy. Plus, he could use that platemail

2)Personal challenge
Being a cavalier and all that, it is hard to overlook a personal challenge.

3)Guild challenge
High stakes, but high reward. And since our guild is now recruiting new members ( all the new players), we should have the resources to win.

Naw I gave him the creatures

Fae: A Sprite
Giant: Stone Giant
Dragon: An elemental dragon only described as being so bright that it is blinding.
Feel I should probably quote this so everyone knows what the creatures were again.  Also so neonivek doesn't pull his hair out with indecision we should probably just do dragon killers cause that'd be 3 #1 votes, and a secondary vote or two.

By the way, it is great that we have some ranged people now, becouse otherwise a dragon might have been pure suicide ( they fly!). Not that I would have voted otherwise.

Besides, dragon slaying is kind of a standard thing for the medieval chivalrious knight archetype I am playing, right?
( and on the plus side... it might have an hoarde!)

Now I just have to fight stress, annoyance, sleep deprivation, and illness to make this session one to remember.

Hey, 4 negatives make a positive right?   or wait... no can't remember.  I'm sure it'll be good!

if you multiply them, they do indeed make a positive.

If you subtract them they do as well.  So he's got two math things going for him at least!.

if you subtract them however the end result depends on the magnitude of each suffering. Anoyance and illness may or may not make up for sleep deprivation and stress.

get better soon. relax, rest and if you think you can't handle this session, don't stress too much over it. It would be bad for health and we can afford to play some other day.

Hey, take care of yourself man. It's the same as writers get told, your health comes before our entertainment.

Ah, damn it, I didn't see that until I finished rolling up my Dwarf Zen Archer Monk. I even took a trait and dropped skill points to let him heal people by whacking them with a healing stick.

e: But yeah, if we've got two people who can UMD we really don't need a healbot (and if we did, that's what NPCs are for). Two ranged deeps isn't that much for a party this size, and there are enough differences between the ZAM and Fighter Archer styles to keep things interesting.

One cool little trick I managed to fit in: routed through Qinggong Power to pick up Hydraulic Torrent, which is as per the spell for 2 ki points.
That looks like a cool build, I was always curious about zen monk but then again, anything other than melee is not manly enough for me...

Though the char sheet will probably need to be checked by GM, just couple things that struck me:
  • HP rolls should be done in campaign thread, I reckon, cause otherwise nobody can know how many roll attempts we took to post that screenshot :P
  • You seem to have rolled d10 instead Monk's d8, so I assume Unchained Monk? Can the normal archetypes even work with Unchained? Since abilities and stuff got changed... the unchained monk is superior as a base :D maybe I should roll that

Yeah, fair enough, I can reroll with the system dice. Just wanted to have something up there. But yes, Unchained Monk. The Zen Archer archetype still more-or-less works because it's designed to convert Monks into ranged attackers rather than powering them up (almost all of the class features it replaces are still in the normal progression, save for Maneuver Training (which is irrelevant when the Monk gets full BAB) and *snerk* Diamond Body, which is now a ki power that nobody will ever take.

It's also why I avoided other things like the Qinggong archetype, because that whole archetype was basically removed and replaced with a ki power option that does the same thing.

...

Though to be honest, I actually dropped my first HP roll, because it was (IIRC) 1, 10, 10, 2, 10, 1, and I thought that there was no way in hell anyone would believe that that actually happened, even with screenshots. God, I can't wait for my dice to arrive or InvisibleCastle to come back up so that I can stop relying on this gen.  :P

Yes, I know. If I hadn't I'd have ended up with 71 HP.
