An anti-paladin might work though.

Sorry Drexav is bringing a new dude?  Oh well that should be interesting, can't say we'll make exactly the best first dnd/pathfinder group :P

As for heal-botting I already bought a wand of CLW so... I mean it's not necessary anymore I guess.

Ranged dps would be good cause as previously mentioned we have very little to no ranged dps.  As for the new guy and Flying Dice both doing it... well we have none so it's better than getting a 4th melee dps.

Haha, love the jab.

And I think we will do great as his first experience. It will be unorthodox and fun!

Ah, damn it, I didn't see that until I finished rolling up my Dwarf Zen Archer Monk. I even took a trait and dropped skill points to let him heal people by whacking them with a healing stick.

e: But yeah, if we've got two people who can UMD we really don't need a healbot (and if we did, that's what NPCs are for). Two ranged deeps isn't that much for a party this size, and there are enough differences between the ZAM and Fighter Archer styles to keep things interesting.

One cool little trick I managed to fit in: routed through Qinggong Power to pick up Hydraulic Torrent, which is as per the spell for 2 ki points.

I don't really want to spend money on healing people mind you cause I've already shelled out a heck of a lot of gold in arena fees/poisons to complete the jobs/alchemical items to complete jobs/I am playing a class that really needs a good melee weapon and armor.

So I think my dude might be happy if he doesn't have to part with more cash.  ha

You can also re-roll, I did that after the first session and realized my initial char was worthless.

I mean, I really really like the idea of the ZAM. I like Monks, I like archers, and I've never really had the chance to play the latter out (apart from one Half-Fey Scout in a dead campaign).

That, and as a Monk I'm never going to be spending money on armor, so I can afford to drop 750gp on a W:CLW once in a while.

Oh, and all the cool things ZAMs can do. At 9th level I can make AoOs with my bow (and there are, IIRC, feats to extend the threaten range). At 11th, I can shoot around corners and ignore concealment or cover for ki points. At 17th, I can use my ki attacks on my arrows. I can spend ki points to make my arrows have the damage dice of my Unarmed Strike. At 10th level I can get Improved Critical as a bonus feat and combo that with Perfect Strike to prep for being a crit machine.

But most importantly, I get to make puns about using Flurry of Bows.

Re: missions? If people don't mind my uninformed two cents:

The Celestials: Destroy Winery
-Details: Our children are getting drunk of destroyer wine and we want someone to sabotage it. Poison, destroy, or otherwise remove the destroyer wine from the cities stores and we will pay you handsomely.
-Reward: 10,000 gold, Bracers of Armor +3
-Impact: None, but medium for Warriors
That gives us a big chunk of gold we can use to pay for...

31st Guild Challenge:
-Details: The 31st and below guilds are feuding for the 30th ranking. They wish to do a battle royale between all the guilds for that coveted spot. There is no limit to the number of applicants but there is a 5000 gold fee per guild.
-Reward: Official 30th Ranking, 20,000 gold
This. If we're capable of pulling it off, this would probably let us get better jobs in the future.

The Heroes: Dragon Blocking our path
-Details: There has been a dragon blocking and raiding the major trade route to the Hero lands and seems to instinctively know to avoid the larger caravans, but smaller groups have been harassed.
-Reward: A +1 Dragon Bone Platemail
-Impact: Little
Assuming Neo lets us sell the dead dragon off as materials, this could also be a pretty substantial source of gold. Plus, y'know, dragon slaying.  :P

We can afford the guild challenge and pissing off the destroyers would likely get us all sacrificed to some obese demon of luxery that totally doesn't represent the dm.

erm...

I'll vote for:
Guild challenge,
Dragon Killers
Fae

Heh, fair enough. That list actually sounds pretty good, with the earlier proviso that we try to finish the fae mission by recruiting it first.

Well, okay but you guys are responsible for keeping it... I don't wanna look after a sprite, those things know color spray and are kinda evil.

Yeah, from what you said today sounded rough. Hope things turn a bit better now that the day's done.  :(

Man, for all we know it could be a Pixie. Y'know, the one with permanent Greater Invisibility and 1/day Otto's Irresistible Dance?  :P

That looks like a cool build, I was always curious about zen monk but then again, anything other than melee is not manly enough for me...

Though the char sheet will probably need to be checked by GM, just couple things that struck me:
  • HP rolls should be done in campaign thread, I reckon, cause otherwise nobody can know how many roll attempts we took to post that screenshot :P
  • You seem to have rolled d10 instead Monk's d8, so I assume Unchained Monk? Can the normal archetypes even work with Unchained? Since abilities and stuff got changed... the unchained monk is superior as a base :D maybe I should roll that
