Nah I was planning on having my tribe when I started out on the ragnarok server named "We hate Seagulls" but we stuck to Norwegians because none of us were Norwegian. Then I left because drama.
But I hate them too haha. Best advice would be to get something with with a large AOE, like a Trike :> or something stronger like a Wyvern.

Even if there are a few people on this server at the same time as me (not often though), I kind of feel lonely there.

And in a not so unrelated matter today, I woke up to a Rex walking right outside my thatch hut today.
Thought I would lose all my stuff to that thing.
Luckily there was a player's minor horde of various dinos nearby who made short work of it.

The Abberation DLC/expansion will be released today.
In my opinion, it seem to arguable be the most Dwarvenly expansion to date. Well.. It seem to have giant mushroom-like things.. And appears to take place mostly underground-ish.

At any rate.. Anyone planning to make a Bay12 faction on some server or something in the near (or not so near) future?

Well idk if you ever got back to the server, Ultimuh, but we're back up to a playerbase of 5-10~ on the servers.
And we're planning on getting an Aberration up, maybe even tomorrow if I'M lucky i'm legit so hype about it haha. I think we can even grief people with the Plant Species Z grenades.

Yup it's up, Pve though, with 6 times XP, 3 times rest. Ten times breeding and such so you don't have to spend three days or more to hatch a wyvern.
Nordic survival's the name, or just head over to Thegoodolddayz.com and you can see the other servers even though Zomboid is the only populated one haha.

Aberration is rough. Two lvl 1 ravagers took out my lvl 50 raptor. Got one ravager down, raptor goes down, I finish off other ravager with half my health left over. wth

I've started playing again since Aberration was released, and haven't really stopped. The new dinos from that are just ridiculously fun, especially on other maps.

I recently re-installed ARK myself, had a lot of fun soloing around Aberration, and now I'm back on The Center building a silly army of dinos to no actual purpose.

My pack of raptors does just fine against them. Though that new pin ability that raptors have really helps. It is really fun to get around on ziplines with ravagers tho.

Also, Rock Drakes with a tek saddle are my new favorite thing, ever.

Which, for something as small and maneuverable as they are, shouldn't be the case. I'd be willing to bet that a pack of ravagers could tear their way through a pack of raptors, or a pack of direwolves, or allosaurs. The things are just generally too OP.

OP but also fairly necessary to climb ropes and things. Since you'd be doing that to get around they do need to be strong. But at that point they are the only mount other than drakes you want. Nothing else matters, making Aberration real boring. Cool map, but a short list of necessary tames.
