Definitely gonna need some help with this alpha carno. It's level 32, and soaked up 72 stone arrows from a crossbow and a SHITLOAD of attacks from my ptera and was BARELY bloodied. I had to stop because I'd run out of meat to heal my ptera with.

By which you mean 'I took about two thirds of its health, died fighting it, got my level 140 fox-coloured direwolf killed then left greatorder to finish it off'

Maybe but atleast i've got back a ton of kibbles for taming. Rune! If you want to use them for a high level ichthy, you can do so. But I want us to use them only on lvl 50 and above!

Babies are fun, and IMHO the mechanic is sound, but by the gods do they take time to get to maturity.

we've started on second generation trikes now, thinking about setting up a specific egg-incubating room.

If we only could get the 219.3 (4?) update so we could incubate eggs, but we could also wait for mammal breeding which is this weekend. That way I can build a proper base for muh eggwies

219.3 is fine, that's what we did our trike rearing on last night.

All I'm going to say is, Plan, Plan, and Plan some more. As with everything in ARK, preparation is the key.

Hrm, odd, They must have patched while I was AFK- I updated the server after the release, and didn't realize they tweaked anything since then- though, I should have known. As I can't get into the server until it is updated, I am going to post here and wait until it's been vacated, then get us back up to date.
