Nope, still no luck. I'm getting about 50 servers on each (almost all different ones, natch  ) but not yours. It's probably either distance (if you're not in the U.S.) or more likely my ISP being shit.

If you don't mind, post or PM the IP address and I'll see if I can join by adding it to my favorites and going through there.

Mm, that was my mistake, I'm afraid. Some of the explanations of how the variables works are a little ambiguous, and that was one of them. Right now we still seem to have one person on the server- as soon as I am able to finish my update and log on, I'll give a fair warning, and then reset it and correct the problem.

Ayup. "Airships" are going to be pretty interesting...

Anyhow, the update is finished, and taming speed should be what it I promised. Expect the server to be up in another few minutes, and tell me if you have any more problems.

Sometimes things don't visually spawn in properly. It could have been some kind of constructed object you forgot you put there, or it could have been an invisible rock or tree.

Sounds like you're having a rough time of it, though. Hope you find a way to get everything back together.

Hmmm. I haven't found a way to join. I looked for Botusus and there was no response, I tried the IP thing in the steam server list, no response. :L

Just curious, where has everyone else spawned in? A little community village somewhere on the east coast would be a good idea.... although I can't wait to make a dwarfy fortress suspended atop the volcano.

Hrm, what seems to be the problem? Can you not locate the server, or are you just timing out after every attempt? The latter's a common bug, and there's nothing to it but to try and try again- though, restarting your computer might help.

Server doesn't show up on either list. When I try to connect directly I just get "Server is not responding."

As I said, probably my ISP being shit. I have the same problem with a lot of games where only a few dozen servers show up as active when there should be hundreds.

Hey is the server eastcoast or westcoast? I might join if it's eastcoast, otherwise the ping might be too bad for me to play

Edit: In the game and claiming some land. Surprisingly i've got just about 60ping, isn't it a US server?
