Creatures composed of flame or water or salt or ash are easy to kill, despite the power they wield, their materials are fragile. Steam creatures are tricky though, if you can hit them in the first place, they die easily as well.

Edit*
Wait, the Titan was called Lili? LOL
Interesting.

I think this is "loli".

"loli" is DF!human for "butterfly", according to the wiki.

My fortress is being plagued by werehyenas. This one werehyena stormed into my base and now every month or so, one of my dwarves turn into a werehyena, slaughter a good chunk of the population, bite someone, and the whole process repeats over and over again.

Needless to say, I've been having lots of undying anger towards hyenas fun.

I'm sorry I drew a dwarf with a giant fluffy bee hat and little bee pins woven into his beard wearing bee slippers and a pennant that said buzzzzzz buzzzz and then I accidentally threw it away.

Please imagine it.

you have given me something to do. assuming my attention span can be held for long enough to actually draw it.

Last no turtle fort was fun, lets step it up a notch.
Embark now!, haunted desert next to a goblin fortress.
Weather is just weird goo that freaks people out. Boringgggggggggg.
Got infrastructure on its way and plenty of lovely glumprong furniture but oh Armok do we have a food/drink shortage.
I may have to crack the caverns for an emergency foraging expedition.

So I'm not the only one who sees glumprongs trees and decides that everything needs to be made out of it to because the only other time I see purple is that miasma?

But it won't happen to me, my bit doesn't count etc etc... Just saying, after my recent experiences I couldn't trust the public if I wanted to. People got their risk assessment neurons rotten and replaced with game theory. Folks walk around like fat turkeys taunting the world to slaughter them.

Oh man I love glumprongs. Doors, chairs, tables, workshops everything is purple I love it.

In other news my backup glassmaker just went insane because we didn't gave raw green glass. Oh well. I've got another glassmaker whose much more skilled.
The new tavern above the trade depot is operational, showing the desert we're not content to hide beneath the surface.
Fortifications construction has stalled while I redirect all our blocks towards the tavern but we ought be able to resume soon.
Robbing the elves helped slightly with our food & drink issues but we're still living largely hand to mouth.
Have yet to breach caverns, would like to hold off until our new militia has some more training and also weapons would be nice, but we'll see how desperate we get.

Oh yes, though I usually use black bronze due the plentiful gold, copper, silver. Purple and gold (and cyan) for that royal or triadic feel, purple and white (and green) for that complimentary contrast, purple and dark red for that ominous feel...

Sounds odd to have no sand with two glassmakers, though.

Why not poke the caverns, seal off and then dig out a plant gathering/pasture area in the sand?

The king turned 145 years old.
What will happen if the king dies? Will the fort still be mountainhome?

Hm, how?

Asking since I've certainly had multiple baronies in fort at same time.

I'm not sure, but if your baron dies I'm pretty sure there's no inheritance. Inheritance from other locations works for some ungodly reason.
