A jabberer attacked a miller in the third cavern. The miller got away. Then it attacked my baron, and I panicked and sent every soldier in the fort to kill it.

But my baron was having none of that. Despite having no military skill at all, he punched the jabberer into submission, dodging every attack. He was a woodcutter, so he had an axe, but he didn't use it at all. Eventually I put him in a squad and he killed the jabberer with the axe. Did I mention his stats are amazing? His stats are amazing. I have a great baron.

Too... many...crocs..
I helped my butcher and atomsmashed 2/3 of them right away.

Two crocsplosions at the same time ? Not bad.

I would assume the limit on pets of one species would prevent it though.

Just gotta figure out where the goblins enter the map from and pasture them there... well, maybe wait until they grow up first...

Is there a way to destroy/collapse a tree without dwarves touching it with DFhack? I've got a forgotten beast stuck in a tree.
Use ballista next time. Even basic wooden siege arrow will make any tree it hits an instant pile of toothpicks.

Recently breached Hell. Have you ever seen 118 dwarfs die in 30 seconds? I have.

Made a FB random number generator (by mistake). It can not decide where to be trapped, moves around in my fb traps, moves in one , moves back to the next, but ignores the tasty alpaca and the path into the fortress I offered elsewhere (where I want it for a silk farm).

My female Macedwarf just had a baby, and brought the baby with her into battle with a flock of Hungry Heads. The baby was not injured. The baby's name is Cerol Rawrough.

I'm jealous.  My crocs have only laid infertile eggs so far.

The hunter has become the hunted, now that I finally have enough dwarves to form a militia those ice wolves are dropping like flies. I didn't even need to arm them. Turns out as long as your dwarves have some degree of dodging & punching skill ice wolves are complete wusses. And the stacks on element helps too.
