Sadly, none. Just a lot of dwarf corpses and miasma everywhere. About 30 dwarves still operational out of 60 alive ones. The rest are dying of melancholy or madness. Or berserking.

My ironless fortress has fell down against the goblins. That's really... Fun.

I want a 1-tile corridor full of Spikes, with 10 z-levels open space on both sides.
Nope.
Pressure plates have an activation time and will therefore not raise the spikes when you want.
Also, a straight corridor is risky because a succesful 10-attack dodge may move the enemy ten tiles in the wrong direction. Building a maze is better.

İ build an another Fortress. I named it Danmankel. Heavy Metal as english. Map is flowing with iron ores and chalk. Oh my luck, i found an magma pool too. I'm establishing a magma pool system for steel industry.

But what the hell, my dogs are fighting with an corpse. İ don't have an army yet. So i'm using dogs for dirty work. They're fighting and fighting... Then i realized there's an annoying necromancer. Now all of my animals are dead. My dwarves are fighting with their bare hands. I got a lot of fun today. Maybe i can hold... But not so much.

Oh and... Some of the dwarves are giving birth in the middle of the undead ._.

After failing miserably at the adventure aspect of a succession game, I choose to build a fort worth exploring. I embarked on the border of a glacier and tundra, with the promise of many metals to choose from. Turns out, I have about four. Materials to make bronze, though, so that's good.

So fr, only dangerous thing to visit has been yetis. They killed a ranger. Bastards have been waltzing on into the stairwell, and I need to set up some cage traps to catch a few.

Next worst thing around is animal people. Lots of different varieties.

Ultimate siege operators. They will not get scared and abandon their posts
as enemies come near their siege engine, since they can't see them.

Experiments with adv mode and DFhack liquids has been... disappointing.

While the obsidian gets conjured into being, it is clear that adv mode has a serious problem with area persistence; none of the created features persist after sleeping, or travel.

Looks like I will just have to embark several times with embark anywhere, and use dfhack to make solid foundations to build the bridge to the island. What a pain.
